NEXT ISSUE OF PHANTOMS and DARK MOON SAGA COMIC UPDATE, and it's not good. As some of you know, my Surface Pro 7 stopped functioning about three weeks ago. I took it to a repair shop, and they said that the problem is due to SSD control failure. That's not good, but being the optimistic guy that I am, I took it to a data retrieval company in hopes that they'll be able to at least get the data off of it. Well, I've finally received news that there is nothing left to attempt in order to retrieve any data. They have exhausted all possible avenues with their current technology and are unable to retrieve even a partial recovery. I didn't want to say anything until I knew for sure, and here we are now. That said, all working files for both the next issue of Phantoms, Dark Moon Saga, and other future comics I was working on are gone. I've lost four months' worth of work. Everything before the end of September 2025 is safely backed up, but for whatever reason, I didn't back up the last four months. The next book of Phantoms and Dark Moon is now delayed. I have final PDF files of the first seven pages of Phantoms, but everything else has to be recreated. I do apologize for anyone looking forward to getting a copy sooner rather than later. But I still plan to launch the next Phantoms (and hopefully Dark Moon) this year. Looking at this in a positive light, this also gives me an opportunity to redo the pages to look better than before.
