In Situ Technology has come full circle! Originally pioneered and developed in the Nilsson lab, in situ analysis / sequencing has come home in the form of two Xenium In Situ platforms from @10xGenomics. Xenium will be offered as a service by Spatial Omics platform @scilifelab

Now that plexy was cool but I think most the systems can theoretically get to >5K genes. BUT this isoform and snp level analysis is very cool. I don't see any other approch able to pull this off. @10xGenomics #AGBT23

Impactful words by @CarolynBertozzi today on how diversity in her trainees enabled creativity, not playing by the rules, and ultimately the work that built the field of bioorthogonal chemistry. Diverse science leads to better science!

Holy shit! I just learned that Carolyn Bertozzi - in addition to being a badass chemist and Nobel - was in a band with Tom Morello - guitarist from Rage Against the Machine 🤯

Congrats to my former ⁦@Harvard⁩ bandmate ⁦@CarolynBertozzi⁩ on her ⁦@NobelPrize⁩ in chemistry! We won the Ivy League Battle of the Bands in 1986 with our rockin’ group ‘Bored Of Education’, with her on keyboards & me in spandex. news.stanford.edu/2022/10/05…
Really cool stuff @HiroshiSasak1!!!
Excited to share our new preprint at bioRxiv!🎉 Decode-PAINT, a multiplexed in situ method to visualize multiple discrete genomic regions at a resolution close to the nucleosome scale. My postdoc project in Peng Yin lab @wyssinstitute with @oligopain 1/11

Excited to see this work from @ScienceRicker and @dinodicarlo measuring antibody secretion with @10xGenomics assays!
A really cool application of Partillion Biosciences and @10xGenomics technologies to measure secreted proteins together with single cell gene expression.
