democratizing intelligence is more important than democratizing wealth $TAO is the unstoppable alternative
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

Back from @proofoftalk and I'm leaving more optimistic than ever. The progress the top subnets are making is amazing, and new subnets keep arriving with high quality teams and genuinely innovative ideas. The ecosystem is in a great place. My biggest takeaway, though, is urgency, on two fronts: revenue and research. 1. On revenue, crypto is now being evaluated like a real business. The strongest tokens are the ones with actual revenue and growth, see HYPE, VENICE, NEAR. Bittensor is already delivering here. Subnets like @TargonCompute, @webuildscore, and @bitmind are posting real revenue growth. The strength is real, the market just hasn't fully heard the story yet, and that's on us to articulate. 2. For research, distributed training is moving incredibly fast. Frontier labs are going public and their access to capital only compounds from here. New business models are emerging just as quickly, like RL training as a service. @MacrocosmosAI announced a 100B run that uses infra which can power this type of solution. The way you compete with general frontier intelligence isn't by matching it head on, it's with custom, smaller, cost-efficient models. @zeussubnet, @metanova_labs, and others are making exactly that bet. Pushing this research forward is critical, for Bittensor and for the world.
The frontier of AI has been generative, but we think the next unlock is different. Representation and embedding models are how detection moves forward, and they're the key to unlocking the next wave of physical AI use cases. Here's why it matters now. The world is automating fast, and every automated system opens a new attack vector for fraud. Return fraud is already the largest sector of global fraud in the world, and it's growing at a rapid pace. As AI agents start transacting and acting on our behalf, that surface only expands. Generation showed us what AI can create. Representation is how we'll understand, verify, and secure what it produces. That's why BitMind is building the horizontal security layer for AI, detection that sits across the stack and protects every system that automation touches.

super excited about this integration with @yanez__ai the ecosystem effect of bittensor
🚀 @yanez__ai #SN54 Phase 4 C3 Execution starts May 6. This cycle is about one thing: giving miners faster feedback so high-quality work improves faster. Phase 4 C2 showed the face track is scaling: 📈 Leaderboard grew from 8 → 100 miners 🥇 New Platinum tier added 🛡️ Manual validation stayed active 📉 Faster score decay keeps rewards moving 📊 Reputation now reflects Face Variation quality, not volume Our Post-validation reputation system helped us verify miner workflows end-to-end and made it easier to separate real generation from copy/paste, loops, shortcuts, or exploit behavior. Now in C3 Execution, miners will start seeing live estimated scores on the dashboard as submissions are processed. These are not final scores. Final truth still comes from post-validation. But live scoring gives miners a much better signal: ✅ Am I following the task? ✅ Is identity preserved? ✅ Is the output strong or weak? ✅ Is my workflow producing useful data? We’re also adding @bitmind detection signals on the dashboard as a live feedback layer. Not as the final judge — but as a practical signal to help miners understand how their outputs behave against detection tools during testing. This matters because the subnet is moving from “submit and wait” toward a tighter adversarial learning loop. Generate → detect → improve → validate → reward. That’s how #SN54 becomes useful for #PoU systems. For new miners, we’re also improving onboarding: 📚 clearer submission guidelines 🎥 example workflow videos 📊 real-time score visibility The message is simple: Quality > volume. Identity preservation matters. Task adherence matters. Honest workflows compound. Execution starts May 6. More coming — stay aligned, keep building, and don’t fade early. #Bittensor $TAO

Highlights from @DCGco Summit. - As a founder/builder you can sometimes get in the weeds, especially when things are volatile. hearing @BarrySilbert perspective on $TAO and if you zoom out, how positive things look and how much progress has been made over the past couple of years was enlightening and his conversation w/ @const_reborn got everyone fired up from the start - @GSchvey had an unbelievable data driven presentation on the financial fundamentals of TAO and how the flywheel of innovation is working - getting to spend time with the Bittensor community, especially catching up with @shibshib89 and @dlawee who incubated @bitmind and gave us a shot was great. always inspiring and motivating to hear how other builders in the ecosystem continue to innovate. - New talent: meeting some of the new folks coming into the ecosystem. GIGA cracked very bullish. @actualinc @oroagents @TAOInstitute_ and many others. - lastly, getting to talk to folks outside of bittensor that don’t understand, are skeptical, or don’t believe in Bittensor yet. What’s great about the DCG Summit is diversity of talent and thought. you get to talk to very smart people who are high level operators and builders outside of the your ecosystem or vertical. not internet trolls FUDing but real, honest criticism and debating how bittensor wins and what we need to do is incredibly valuable always an absolute top-class event. massive shoutout to @YumaGroup @EvanMalanga @LindsMikeStone and the whole @dcgco team for putting on such a great event 🔥

Dialed Ken Jon
Ken Jon Miyachi @kenjon is the founder of BitMind @bitmind, a company building at one of the most important edges of decentralised AI: deepfake detection. As synthetic media becomes more convincing and more widespread, the need for trustworthy verification infrastructure is becoming impossible to ignore. And this is exactly where the case for decentralisation, and for Bittensor, becomes so compelling. If the mission is to determine what is real and what is manipulated, that system cannot depend on a single entity. It has to be open, resilient, and credibly neutral. Before BitMind, Ken was a software engineer and technical lead at organisations including NEAR Foundation @NEARFoundation and Amazon @amazon. Now he is helping build the kind of infrastructure this next era of AI will depend on. This summer Ken joins us at the Louvre. June 2–3, Bittensor Track at Proof of Talk. Alibaba just claimed happy horse 1.0 topping all leaderboards in T2V models. All top vision generation models are now chinese (SeedDance, Kling). LTX leading the way for open weights models but ranked #37. these companies have made many open source contributions but not open-sourcing the models in categories where they are SOTA.

Sam leaving, dumping, and the fallout is unfortunate, especially for Covenant stakeholders. but this is actually an amazing opportunity for everyone building on Bittensor. Decentralized training is the holy grail, but there is so much research left beyond a 72B dense LLM. @bitmind cooking stuff and know many other teams are as well. I've seen this before. I worked with and recruited a team from Google DeepMind for over almost a year. countless hours with them. whole team flew into Austin with their partners. We spent days working, eating, and bonding. They were miners on my subnet and said winning our subnet competition was the highlight of their year. The next week after flying home, they dumped everything. I trusted those people a lot, and spent countless time with them, set up OTC deals for them etc. this feels very similar. Sam was praising @const_reborn and Bittensor just days ago, then crashed out and hurt a lot of people. const was extremely generous and truly wanted Sam to succeed. The economic aspect hurts but the hardest part is the principle and emotion. I get the allure of cashing out 10 million dollars. but imo extremely short sighted and not why I'm here. The dream of building something iconic and driving real breakthrough innovations is the motivation long term games is the way success is the best revenge. the absolute ruthless competition for decentralized training on bittensor is open. the moat bittensor has is velocity. that hasn't changed. consume open source and innovate

Great strides in Q1 @bitmind enterprise customers and revenue. explainability and Proof-of-Human is the next frontier. a huge percentage of cyber crime losses in the US involve human security systems getting compromised. generative AI is becoming a core component of almost all of these cyber crimes. no one wants to orb themselves. a fully open-source digital identity system for the AI world is necessary.
Q1 2026 has been a breakout quarter for BitMind. We made significant strides toward our mission of creating a decentralized Trust Layer for the internet, delivering real product progress, enterprise traction, and ecosystem collaboration on the Bittensor network. Here is what we accomplished: Launched the Human Face Competition We kicked off our first major community-driven data initiative, the Human Face Competition. This open call is crowdsourcing diverse, high-quality face data to accelerate training of our specialized deepfake detection models and directly support our key partnerships. Formalized Strategic Partnership with Yanez (@yanez__ai)After months of technical integration, we officially partnered with Yanez to co-build a fine-tuned face deepfake detection model optimized for biometric-grade attacks. Yanez brings 20 years of identity security expertise, patents, and a proprietary face dataset, while we contribute our proven AI-generated content detection model and Top 20 subnet infrastructure. This collaboration is already delivering a model neither subnet could build alone and is aimed squarely at the exploding deepfake fraud problem in crypto, finance, and identity verification. First Enterprise Customers and Revenue We closed our first enterprise contracts and generated real revenue from production deployments. These wins validate both the demand for our technology and our ability to serve serious customers who require reliability, compliance, and measurable performance. Complete Infrastructure Refactor We rebuilt our core infrastructure from the ground up. The result is major performance gains, dramatically improved scalability, and full readiness for SOC 2 certification with a strict zero-data-retention policy. This puts us in a strong position to meet the security and privacy standards enterprise and regulated customers demand. New Reporting Feature with Explainability We shipped a powerful new reporting dashboard that gives users clear, human-readable explanations for every detection decision. Transparency and trust are now built into the product, not added later.
