Exactly right! That's why it's imperative we elect @Paul_Renner as the next Governor of Florida! Vote August 18th. #FloridaFirst
The @FloridaGOP will NEVER risk another Ron Desantis happening. @GovRonDeSantis set back the center-left, grift fueled agenda the Florida Legislature was working towards by YEARS. Look at how the Florida GOP has treated Desantis? They have to insure that the next Gov is fully onboard with the agenda and the grift and remove ANY chance that anyone else MIGHT upset that EVER again.

Hey @FloridaGOP, if you're not too busy, maybe, possibly, you could arrange a gubernatorial debate!
Florida GOP Leadership, As a concerned Florida Republican and voter, I respectfully request that the Party organize a formal debate among the top four Republican candidates for Governor ahead of the 2026 primary. A debate would give Republican voters the opportunity to hear directly from the leading candidates on the key issues facing our state โ€” including education, public safety, economic growth, Data Centers, insurance reform, and protecting Floridaโ€™s future from federal overreach. Voters deserve to see the candidatesโ€™ positions and records side-by-side in a fair, transparent setting. Hosting such a debate would strengthen our Party, energize the base, and ensure the strongest nominee advances to November. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

She's a RPOF board member who has publicly endorsed Byron Donalds. No wonder the RPOF aren't allowing a gubernatorial candidate debate.
And here you have a RPOF board member speaking about @JayCollinsFL like this. They can say theyโ€™re unbiased in their decisions, yet theyโ€™re out here doing the opposition's dirty work for them. The bias is glaring. @CollinsWarRoom @johncardillo @TedVeerman

I donโ€™t think people realize how monumental this is. Itโ€™s easy for me to call a spade a spade, Iโ€™m not in politics. For Americaโ€™s governor to drop the hammer on these bogus proceedings is downright legendary. Thatโ€™s why the people love him!
The chairman of the party should not be insulting the intelligence of Republican voters. A debate was promised and these ridiculous criteria are being used to renege on that promise and to engineer a preferred outcome. Why not just take 90 minutes, find a tv partner, and let the candidates mix it up? The only reason why you wouldnโ€™t is if the party hierarchy is serving outside interests instead of the best interests of the voters.

Byron Donalds apparently loves for everyone else to debate, but won't face his opponents in the race for Florida Governor. This is getting old. Debate.
You are a hypocrite @ByronDonalds. You are refusing to debate your opponents. Florida Republican voters only get 2 months to decide who will be our nominee to eventually represent us as our governor. The people of Pennsylvania deserved a debate but we don't?

The existence, history, locations and funding of these U.S. funded biolabs was intentionally covered up by powerful people falsely claiming that the labs do not exist and accusing anyone who says otherwise to be foreign assets and traitors to America. Those lies are still being propagated today by the same powerful people and their allies who wish to see this dangerous research continue with little to no oversight.

I agree with @RonDeSantis ~ as a member of the executive committee of @FloridaGOP , I am going on record to say that I respectfully disagree with this unilateral decision. The American experiment works because we trust free people to hear competing ideas, evaluate the facts, and make their own choices. I believe sunlight, debate, and open discussion strengthen our party and our democracy. Republican voters do not need protection from ideas, they need the opportunity to judge them for themselves.
Governor DeSantis understands that politicians work for the people and have to earn their support. Floridians deserve the chance to vet candidates, hear them debate the issues, and make up their own minds about who should lead our state.

Our Gov is ๐Ÿ’ฏ right. RPOF should be better than the DNC that pushed Kamala Harris on their voters without debate.

This is: The United States Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor, Stephen Miller: โ€œThe reason why those Americans in North Carolina, those mothers, those fathers, those precious little children, were left to die begging their government for help that never came is because the Democrats turned FEMA into an illegal alien resettlement agency.โ€ Meaning: The Democrats said FEMA had NO money and left fathers to die in Maui. The Democrats said FEMA had NO money and left mothers to die in East Palestine, Ohio. The Democrats said FEMA had NO money and left children to die in North Carolina. BUT FEMA had an extra $1 BILLION to spend on illegals, including Social Security, Medicaid, SNAP, and voter registration. And, as a bonus, they complain that Elon Musk is now a trillionaire.

We deserve to watch them under pressure. But that's exactly why a debate will never happen. Donalds would fold like a cheap suit. He could be the bigger man and demand a debate but he knows his weaknesses. He's not going to advocate for something he'd fail.

Not only is the @FloridaGOP setting the stage for their heir apparent @ByronDonalds theyโ€™ve also stacked up the โ€œguestsโ€ with his wife and other mega fans. @EvanPower - this is the EXACT playbook used with a prior version of @DuvalGOP and itโ€™s exactly how Jax went from red to blue. Disgraceful and stupid. I hope more and more people see and start looking at @Paul_Renner - a peopleโ€™s choice. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™

Which is not a televised debate for the whole of Florida voters, Evan. You know it is not even remotely the same. You are even missing an opportunity to showcase beyond primary voters to lay the groundwork for the general. As Governor DeSantis said, it is not productive to alienate voters in this season by engineering an outcome. 38.5% of voters are Republican. You are alienating at minimum 3-5%. While only 30% are Dems, 30% are independent. They and the alienated GOP voters will determine our next governor. Short term gain will cause long term loss. Oh, and The GOAT would not have passed your arbitrary requirement that strangely only allow Byron the official okay. Trust that THIS message will resonate more than your allowing people at a showdown say something.

These actions of the RPOF are basically rolling out the red carpet for a Gov. David Jolly IF they donโ€™t begin debates immediately. This is a fact and that can easily affect the down ballot. See the mayorโ€™s race in Jacksonville for a preview. Rs preferred a D to the forced and paid for establishment Chamber nominee.
