TomoTwin official release pt 1 🥳! After some code streamlining and writing documentation we’ve released the first stable build of TomoTwin. Here’s an example of TomoTwin picking Tc toxins based on a single reference without having to be trained on the protein beforehand. 🧵1/6

The first strategy helps you to refine manually selected references or cluster targets using umaps.

The second strategy creates masks using an estimate of the average background embedding. It can exclude large portions of irrelevant regions, dramatically speeding up the embedding step and allowing the umap to focus on relevant embeddings.
