It is not hard at all using Gemini 3.5 Flash (high) like 100x cheaper than Claude Fable 5 to build this 3d model of Boeing 747 in a few minutes. Daily reminder: execution is not the bottleneck. Distribution is.

product dev: reinforcement learning in production
My favorite agentic coding use case: 1) customer reports bug, I ask for details 2) I take screenshot of chat 3) throw it into Claude Code (configured to write a test case for the bug, fix the bug, and then run the test suite) Deploy 5min later, report success to the customer 🥰

You have Claude Fable for only a few days. Here's how to make the most of it. Introducing /improve: use your most capable model to audit your codebase and write plans for cheaper models to execute later. Studies your code, figures out bugs, perf, tech debt, missing tests, what to build and writes plans any agent can run.

On DeepSWE GPT 5.5 is also better than Opus 4.8 deepswe.datacurve.ai/blog
i've been pretty clear on how much better gpt 5.5 is over opus 4.8 to the extent i've been called a paid shill i just like to call it like it is so far with fable - it's hard to see how anthropic doesn't run away with it right now unless gpt 6 ships next month or something

from my own experience I trust @steipete more also deepSWE Claude Fable 5's code can still be reviewed and found a lot of low level bugs from Codex CLI with GPT 5.5

also the computer use experience in Codex is like 1 million times better than that in Claude

Congrats NHS for using the best AI of 2024!
Great to see NHS England scaling Microsoft 365 Copilot to more than 500,000 staff. In early trials, staff saved an average of 43 minutes per day, helping put more time back into what matters most, caring for patients. ukstories.microsoft.com/feat…

Loops work as long as you are Anthropic employees If you are outsider it would only serve you distilled models
I really dislike this guy.

Pretty distilled models are served now Bad
Anthropic's Opus 4.7 and 4.8 models are experiencing degraded performance, which is causing a higher rate of failures for users selecting these models in Notion AI. To mitigate impact, all Anthropic models have been disabled in the model picker and requests have been rerouted to alternative providers. Most users should now be able to continue using Notion AI with minimal disruption, though Anthropic-specific features remain unavailable. Please refer to notion-status.com/ for the details.

I'd say the recent pref of Opus 4.8 high from Opus 4.6 high is really a headache. Claude Code introduced way more bugs in Opus 4.8 high from 4.6 high in @screenkite_com's code base. I really love the speed but it is pretty waste of both time and money.

love Matthew sharing this!
Two of our worst VC stories: 1. A Sequoia partner passed on Cloudflare because he didn’t think a woman could lead a security infrastructure company. Seriously. 🙄 2. I got introduced to @pmarca. Meeting got scheduled for a Monday, which should have been a clue. I thought it was just a casual meeting. He thought it was a pitch and brought the whole @a16z partnership team. Hilarity ensued. 🤪 At one point one of them said: “You don’t seem very prepared.” Which was true because I wasn’t. I framed the rejection letter they sent.

TBH @screenkite_com is solving most of the problems here also with 3x exporting speed as screen studio pause & resume always works
Replying to @pie6k
Sure. I speak for me and my team: First we love SS. Been using and recommending it for years. - Multi-clips: a big reason why they use CapCut is for multi-clips. So long tutorials need multiple recordings. Multiple exports. - Better captions accuracy and customization styles, especially for UGC. - Scene transitions. Gives more range for types of video. - Remove bg noise/studio/normalize volume. Pretty essential for me. - Pause/resume recording kept failing. So needs better reliability there. - Edit with transcript. Like descript. - Export speed. That’s on top of my head. Huge work to export multiple recordings -> CapCut multiplied by aspect ratio. Team never posted UGC because of this. In an era where distribution is key, we gotta adapt.
