AI will achieve Stockfish-level coding and generalized computer use
SpaceX has exercised the option to acquire @cursor_ai in an all-stock transaction with the goal of building the world’s most useful AI models. For the past few months, SpaceXAI has been jointly training a model with Cursor, which will be released in Cursor and Grok Build soon. We look forward to working closely with the Cursor team to advance our frontier AI capabilities

More of the iOS app loop, now inside Codex. The Build iOS Apps plugin lets Codex view and test your iOS app in the in-app browser, open SwiftUI previews, and hot reload edits without leaving Codex.

Today, we’re excited to introduce Miso One, the most emotive voice model in the world. Miso One is an 8-billion-parameter text-to-speech model for highly expressive speech generation. It emotes like a human and responds faster than a human, with just 110 milliseconds of latency. We’ve open-sourced the model weights, with API access coming soon. Hear how Miso One sounds in the thread below.

OpenAI is trying to own every app and platform and sell tokens, which means they want to kill every startup. That’s their right, it’s a free market. we need open source alternatives built in America that are committed to enabling startups with tokens β€” instead of selling them tokens and using the profits to replace them.
Building apps has never been easier. With Sites, Codex can turn your work, ideas, and plans into an interactive website or app your team can explore, use, and share with a URL. Rolling out to Business and Enterprise plans, before expanding more broadly.

YC CEO Garry Tan: β€œMoat is not a noun. It’s a verb” Popular belief says startups win because they have one big, game-changing insight. But Varun Mohan (Windsurf CEO) argues that’s a myth. β€œEvery single insight we have is a depreciating insight.” In other words: the value of your insight declines fast. Competitors catch up. Markets shift. What was once novel becomes table stakes. He uses Nvidia as the example: Even at a trillion-dollar scale and 70% gross margins, they still have to innovate, or AMD catches up. The real advantage? Continuously generating new insights β€” and executing on them. β€œIt’s not about the insight you had one year ago. It’s whether you can compound that advantage over and over again.” That’s why Varun tells his team: being wrong is fine, but being stagnant isn’t. You need to stay sharp, learn from the market, and compound your edge over time. Or as Garry Tan (YC CEO) puts it aptly: β€œMoat is not a noun. It’s a verb.” Source: @ycombinator (May 2025)

What you say is true, but nonetheless our AI will be great. Whether it is the best remains to be seen, but I will never give up. Never. Space(XAI) is only 3 years old. That’s half the age of Anthropic and quarter the age of OpenAI. Let’s see where things stand 3 years from now.
