Ever wonder why fat is 9 kcal/g, while protein and carbs are only 4? Mostly because fat allows you to pack in way more high energy carbon-carbon and carbon-hydrogen bonds, without those extra oxygen [carbs are partially oxidized] or nitrogen [in protein] taking up space. 🤓
