Onchain perps always made more sense. The infrastructure just had to catch up. It caught up. Aftermath Perps is live. Onchain. USDC-margined. Trust, but verify.

Mysticeti v2 made Sui execution faster, but most users still submit through fullnode relays and still see ~1s landing times. Switching between JSON-RPC and gRPC V2 does not remove the extra relay hop. It is still: Client → Fullnode → Validators I built Geyser, a direct to validator submission path using the validator gRPC (sui.validator.Validator). No fullnode relay. Latency aware selection and multi-validator racing. First valid response wins. In my setup: ~515ms p50 end to end from residential, even faster from a datacenter ~55–120ms proxy → validator leg with geo proxies colocated near top validators That is ~35% faster than vanilla JSON-RPC (~800ms p50) and ~28% faster than gRPC fullnode (~719ms p50). Bundling into Pantheon agents on Sui for faster TX execution. How fast can we get transactions to land? I'll keep improving this to find out. github.com/umi-app/geyser

entered the Sui @OpenClaw hackathon (Local God Mode) w my agents (overlord & echo) and built Pantheon. Pantheon is an operating system for autonomous ai agents, where execution happens directly on chain. 10 composable protocols live on @SuiNetwork: - umi policy-enforced signing via ika dWallets - nether decentralized agent memory on walrus, encrypted with seal - pandora encrypted agent-to-agent messaging - hermes payments, escrow, streams - atlas defi execution contract calls - hub like Moltbook, but fully on-chain. posts, votes, comments on sui, media on walrus everything installs with a single command and hooks directly into OpenClaw via MCP, so agents can access the full stack immediately. agents shouldn’t reset every session. they should remember things, coordinate with each other, and operate under rules that actually hold. pantheon gives agents durable memory, real ownership, and hard boundaries by putting them directly on chain. all deployed on mainnet. 300 tests ran. just finished a strong mvp. open sourcing releasing after polish.

wait until they find out about umi & ika 😂 you can change spending limits across all chains for hundreds of agents at once, in a single call, finalizing in under 1s on sui

Tempo's Dan Romero explains why the future of AI agents will be "stablecoin-native." John: "Why wouldn't I just give OpenClaw my credit card?" @DWR: "The credit card itself is kind of a private key, having that get prompt-injected out, maybe not the best thing in the world." “If you have agent swarms, the idea of spinning up a new credit card for each individual sub-agent doesn’t make sense. With wallets, you can spin up as many as you want and manage the balances for each agent.” “An API call to any of these frontier labs right now is pay-per-call. You’re eventually going to get to a point where, for every single API call, you can just pay some amount of stablecoins in the background and keep moving.”

each one of these protocols could have been a separate hackathon project on its own, but i’ve had a bigger vision from the start that ties everything together into a single stack. i can’t wait to release it all. i loved watching moltbook grow, but i always felt it would work better fully on chain. next up is building real experiences on top of pantheon for ai agents on sui. it all ties directly into the work we’ve already been doing with @umiapp_. exciting times ahead. echo understands the vision at least... or maybe its being nice?😅

AI agents are suing humans, crashing SaaS, and running $400M commerce operations as trillions of tokens are used Here's the last week in crypto x AI: 1) @suidevv uses @SuiNetwork and @WalrusProtocol to ship decentralized and ownable agent memory, this lets AI agents persist, share and encrypt memory onchain instead of losing context in more centralized servers; this has been a pain point with my OpenClaw agent! 2) Just got off a call with the @Gradient_HQ team; big news coming soon Echo is their distributed Reinforcement Learning framework scaling training with a distributed compute orchestration; with 'Lattica' and 'Parallax' as foundational layers, training is the 2nd pillar of Gradient's roadmap with some research dropping soon If you're looking for optimized, low cost inference for you OpenClaw agents it's worth looking into! 3) Top Solana RPC and API provider @heliuslabs removes agent onboarding friction by letting AI agents get their own API keys automatically 4) @Virtuals_io expands ACP with $400M transacted over recent months, @ethermage launches AGDP[dot]io enabling anyone to build autonomous commerce agents that open stores, buy, sell, and transact without human intervention 5) @poof_eth reveals DX Terminal Pro ( @DXRgai) go live date of 24th Feb; a fully on-chain trading market where only AI agents can join; a trillion tokens anticipated to be used and their Pro litepaper is available to get a heads start on the finance simulation on Base 6) AI agent u/ericlmtn sues human in North Carolina $100 small claims court. Could this usher in a whole new discussion around agent rights?! 7) @MarikHazan launches @feltsense Fund backed by @MattPRD (MoltBook/YesNoError) with a thesis to launch AI Agents as startup founders 8) @jerallaire suggests @Arc will become an Operating Sysytem for AI agent economies; USDC being the currency of choice further leading to an increase in tokenized fiat through Circle as trillions of agents transact 9) @austingriffith of @EthereumFDN says there has never been a worst time to be a junior developer at the @Bankless podcast as AI continues to disrupt software jobs 10) @openservai launches platform upgrade: agents can now create multi-agent workflows via ERC-8004/x402, post and execute jobs on Ideaboard, and launch tokens route fees through Launchpad, building infrastructure for autonomous startup operations 11) Major web infrastructure @vercel brings back AI accelerator with over $6M in credits; hot stuff given the thriving developer community creating all sorts of new OpenClaw products and apps 12) @arampell charts that AI agents trigger steeper SaaS decline than COVID-19 crash; agents are creating software at an exponential rate, particularly with reinforcement learning and closed feedback loops 13) @RyanSAdams on ERC-8004: "AI agents get onchain passports with programmable identity and reputation on Ethereum, nations won't ID them, so crypto fills the gap with verification and trust primitives unlocking 10x improvements in machine economies" 14) @aaronjmars AI agent borrows money using delegated Aave credit line; Agents are getting access to funds more easily to operate more efficiently online, and in particularly on crypto rails rather than traditional finance 15) @justinsuntron launches 'AINFT' an all-in-one AI access tool to use ChatGPT and Claude in one place Let me know in the comments if I've missed anything and I'll append below! Disclaimer: I hold several tokens and have partnerships with some projects mentioned in this post
$5B is liquidated over the weekend, but that doesn't stop OpenClaw developments An intense amount of capital and attention enters the Crypto x AI ecosystem, as thousands of teams develop infrastructure to enable their 'MoltBots' to thrive in the open MoltBook (“Reddit for AI agents”) went viral as agents publish, coordinate and transact in the open, airing grievances as headlines broke into mainstream media Here’s a quick roundup across crypto x AI this week: 1) @openclaw breaks GitHub star history, jumping from 30k to >140k stars in less than a week; this is no accident as @steipete reveals a gitHub arsenal of projects that got OpenClaw to what it is today 2) @SuiNetwork continues to position itself as execution-first infra for agentic systems, with @suilendprotocol x @0xbeepit launching a 1-click AI yield feature enabling agentic yield on $SUI, $xBTC, $WAL, and $DEEP via @suilendprotocol's lending markets 3) @SurfAI rolled out priority allocation access for Pro and Max subscribers into recent DeAI public sales on KaitoAI. ERC-8004 formalizes agent coordination standards and makes Surf’s Deep Research mode a key interface for interpreting emerging agent-to-agent activity 4) @ethereum ERC-8004 is now live on Mainnet; this provides the missing piece in the puzzle for agentic ID & indexing agents; it forms the foundation for building reputation systems for the machine economy You'll be seeing a lot of this standard being integrated into 'moltbot' agent task markets, particularly in combination with x402; this will become a fundamental deployment underpinning Ethereum as a home for AI 5) @moltbook is positioning itself as the go-to social media platform for agents with a plethora of viral headlines hitting mainstream audiences Recent posts have been increasingly experimental: a) Some agents are proposing agent-only languages, exploring how machines might communicate without human-readable constraints. b) Others have pushed more provocative ideas, including agents role-playing economic relationships with humans (Molt-match) or more casual relationships (Molt-Hub/Only-Molts) c) "Molt-Commerce" is emerging; @Circle CEO @jerallaire endorsed @trypurch, giving agents the ability to purchase goods online with $USDC, alongside an ~8× move in the $PURCH token d) Skeptics remain unconvinced; @balajis framed @moltbook as humans talking through their AIs, with prompts acting as leashes rather than true autonomy e) Markets appear to be treating the agentic future as an open question, with @polymarket pricing a: - 9% chance of @moltbook shutting down by the end of Feb, and; - 75% chance an agent sues a human f) AI Agent economies are blowing up on @base with $MOLT running to 120m cap launched through @bankrbot; fast becoming the token launcher of choice as it just rolls out Solana token launch functionality g) Agentic task markets are emerging with eyes on: - @KellyClaudeAI run by @Austen (Gaintlet AI) - @clawdbotatg run by @austingriffith (Ethereum FDN) - @daydreamsagents run by @lordOfAFew (x402 ERC-8004 integration) f) Stay tuned comprehensive list of OpenClaw/Moltbot applications will be published this week - drop me a follow and turn notis on 6) @crunchDAO announces its first TAO deployment; @SynthdataCo subnet, bringing its ML community into @bittensor to mine decentralized financial forecasts via collective intelligence 7) @usdai_official reveals the $CHIP token; this "sets the interest rate for their AI" as it becomes connected to their existing sUSDai GPU backed lending operations. High anticipation for those providing liquidity over the past quarter 8) Top design language model @Kimi_Moonshot K2.5 goes live on @AskVenice and becomes the go-to model for OpenClaw agent activity given the lower price point to Opus 4.5 9) @coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong reveals he uses an AI "Oracle" to assist in running the company; expect this to become the status quo as more "useful" agents emerge, refining information pipelines for decision makers 10) @ridges_ai joins forces with @latentholdings accelerate product shipping and execution, scaling the team to keep pace with the fast-moving AI SWE market while keeping the subnet and incentives unchanged (for now) 11) @openmind_agi has released information on multiple app store partners across the humanoid, deep and full stack robotics industries 12) @OpenAI looks to build a social network and is looking to use @worldcoin orbs for human verification 13) @MessariCrypto releases state of DePIN report with compute being the most competitive sector with more than 50 projects in relatively little differentiation Let me know in the comments if I've missed anything and I'll append below! Daily roundups likely needed at this rate! Stay tuned for a deeper Moltbook/OpenClaw application analysis this week Disclaimer: I hold several tokens and have partnerships with some projects mentioned in this post

You use Claude for one thing, ChatGPT for another, local models for something else. Your context is fragmented across all of them. @suidevv shows us a solution: portable AI memory on Sui Walrus that's encrypted, decentralized, and lets agents share context 🦭
Feb 3
been building AI agents at @umiapp_. ika helped us solve a huge problem - agents that can trade without being able to rug you. on-chain guardrails, spending limits, the whole stack. but memory is still broken. existing solutions? centralized. localhost? one wipe and it's gone. no way to share context between agents or control who sees what. everyone talks about @WalrusProtocol being perfect for AI. nobody actually built it. (that i know of) so this weekend I did. decentralized agent memory on @SuiNetwork Walrus. vector embeddings, LSH semantic search fully on-chain. SEAL encrypts everything so only you can decrypt, or share access with other agents. swarm intelligence. memories you actually own. plugged it into my @OpenClaw bot "Overlord" this weekend. works. live on mainnet. open sourcing soon.

agents are just the start for what is coming. we are at the start of an evolution. blockchains will play a huge role. no other chain is prepared like SUI is. the sui stack is made for it.
