Ooooh @sefudi_tswagae what a recollection of history on #June16 background. The West Rand uprising with Young Muslims and Young Christians (fighting alcohol abuse and shutting shebeens in '76) as influenced by Rev Chikane is not captured well in our archives @KeaNcube #PowerUp

As if you don't run your mouth on other Ministers' portfolios....
I find it very insulting that Minister @mmkubayi can talk about the plight of artist to the public without talking to me first. I know nothing about SA artist gigs being cancelled. We can’t be held hostage because of gigs, Abahambe 🤛

...another "Annual Review," without feedback of what happened with our inputs from 2025🤔🤔😲😲😲, imihlola!!! Nevertheless, let's do our part and make those submissions.
Well, @ParliamentofRSA has once again called for public inputs on possible constitutional amendments. For those who may not know, the Constitution itself allows for amendments through Section 74. In other words, the Constitution was designed to be amended where Parliament and the people believe change is necessary. Parliament is currently receiving legal opinions on submissions made during the previous Constitutional Review process, including SACR's submission. We therefore hope Parliament will also provide South Africans with feedback on the outcome of that process and explain how those submissions were considered. As we did before, we the people of South Africa will once again make our voices heard by participating in this process. I will share the submission link and further details soon. Public participation should not end when submissions are sent. Citizens deserve to know what happens next. #Constitution #AccountabilityMatters #parliament

The DA told farmers it was their party. Then this happened. 🧵 1/ SA's worst FMD outbreak. All 9 provinces. A national crisis. A KZN farmer emails the minister — thanking him for vaccines, offering to help coordinate the rollout. John Steenhuisen's chief of staff Jana le Roux forwards it to the DG and DDG with one line: "for some amusement." 2/ She has no agriculture background. She's a corporate lawyer who followed Steenhuisen from Cape Town city hall into the GNU. Steenhuisen's response when it went viral? "I requested the person to apologise." She kept her job. 3/ This is the same ministry that removed veteran FMD expert Dr Danie Odendaal for publicly questioning the vaccine strategy. Mock the farmers trying to help. Fire the experts trying to fix it. Then ask for an apology and move on. This is the DA's "agriculture reset." 🌾

1. Checkers has drivers who use private vehicles 2. Checkers has its own little kombis 3. What stopped Checkers from implementing a skills development initiative (scooter learnerships) when starting Checkers Sixty? Stop posting for Elon's money .... please, cabanga
This is how we know that most of you are idiots. Firstly, Checkers is a big brand. The last thing they’d want to do is violate the bill of rights & find themselves in courts for discrimination. Secondly, She writes her demand on the delivery note section as if it will be seen by the Checkers manager first🤣 Thirdly, only about 2% of South Africans Nationally hold licences to operate a motorcycle & I doubt that every single one of them wants to use it for work purposes. Lastly, judging from the stats above, logic dictates that South Africans don’t have motorcycles or scooters to venture into this kind of business, it is only a few. P.s Bam’layile🤣😂

You cannot read this in isolation from the scramble by IDAC to get the "CAT" on a plea bargain 🤔🤔 There's no smoke without fire We also have to get more details on the O' Sullivan affidavit to IDAC & why they worked with him against some of the Generals.... the truth will out
#Madlanga is about to crack this scam of a case wide open. Adv Mathew Chaskalson SC has now hinted that the Commission is examining whether Gen Nhlanhla #Mkhwanazi was correct or incorrect in alleging that Dumisani #Khumalo and his co-accused were arrested as part of an organised crime agenda aimed at disrupting #PKTT and humiliating the Generals. #IDAC may finally be reaching its sell-by date of weaponising the law. Way to exit a debate with racist, genocide apologists who are spewing verbal 💩 and white priviledge .... 🙇🏿🙇🏿 Kudos to the Jedi Redihentse🙇🏿🙇🏿
What a cowardly retreat "I don't know the facts." Yes, you do. You just switch to a default setting of making stuff up, lying about people who differ with you and framing yourself as a victim. It wasn't a mistake. Either that or your mother is a liar who told her mommy's boy lies. I don't know you. Never heard of you. It was a bold claim to say I took your mommy's money. She told you that? Tell her to keep my name out of her mouth or come and say this nonsense to my face. Better still, she can come on a live show and tell us what @Dischem Foundation's aims were when they supported good courses in South Africa. Was it to secure support for Israel? There's a name for that. As for what you think of me. I don't know you, I don't care. Feel free to continue thinking about me in whatever way. Lastly, next time you come at me, bring a grown up man with solid, rational inputs. Not this mommy's boy who is still suckling poison and needs to be burped. I'm done here.

It's said, "mortal life that does not come to an end becomes a curse." What about mortal life that has come to an end but the corpse does not want to depart and be interred 😯🙈🙈🙈....what becomes of it, and it's aura!!????
It seems that the mortuary has had enough of keeping Edgar Lungu's body. Can all involved help us by getting this body to Zambia. We have enough haunting issues in Gauteng, trust me.

This is BAAAD. Joe Jackson, BAD!! 😞 A Govt department issuing a statement with BASELESS accusations You are accusing @Ma_Lunga of 'misinformation,' yet here you are embarking on a DISINFORMATION campaign 🤣 Scrapping the bottom of the barrel for content & Comms Professionals
MEDIA STATEMENT MINISTER TOLASHE PUSHES BACK AGAINST COORDINATED MISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN Pretoria, 30 April 2026: The Minister of Social Development, Ms Nokuzola Sisisi Tolashe, has noted what appears to be a deliberate and sustained attempt to mislead the public and undermine her leadership through the circulation of false and distorted narratives. The Ministry places it on record that these claims are being driven by a disgruntled former official of the Department, Ms Lumka Oliphant, whose precautionary suspension and subsequent dismissal followed serious allegations relating to the mismanagement of public resources and gross administrative misconduct. These allegations, which emerged through established oversight and audit processes, pointed to significant governance and procurement irregularities. Ms Oliphant was placed on precautionary suspension on 01 September 2025 and, following due process, was dismissed on 17 October 2025 after failing to provide satisfactory representations on the charges brought against her. Instead of addressing these serious matters through appropriate legal and institutional channels, Ms Oliphant has embarked on a campaign of misinformation, making unsubstantiated and misleading claims against the Department and Ministry. This conduct is clearly aimed at diverting attention from the real reasons for her dismissal and sowing confusion in the public domain. The Ministry further notes with concern attempts to implicate the Minister personally in matters that fall outside her current portfolio responsibilities. These claims are baseless and form part of a broader effort to discredit the Minister at a time when she is actively implementing consequence management, socio-economic development and strengthening governance within the Department. Since assuming office, Minister Tolashe has taken decisive steps to clean up irregularities, enforce accountability, and restore integrity within the Department of Social Development. These actions are in the best interest of the public and are essential to ensuring that resources reach the vulnerable communities the Department serves. The Minister will not be intimidated or distracted by attempts to derail this work. At an appropriate time, the Minister will present a full and factual account to Parliament on all matters within her responsibility. Until then, the public is urged to exercise caution and not be misled by narratives that are self-serving and not grounded in verified processes. The Department remains focused on its mandate and will continue to act decisively against any form of wrongdoing, without fear or favour. ENDS ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT Media enquiries may be forwarded to the Acting Head of Communication, Ms Sandy Godlwana on 082 678 5634 / SandyG@dsd.gov.za

Everytime I see a post about Phila Ndwandwe and this photograph attached to it. Without reading further, I make sure to comment and mention that this is NOT Phila Ndwandwe.
This is Phila Ndwandwe. In 1985, Phila was 🇿🇦 recruited into the ANC. She became an MK fighter. 3 years later, she was abducted in Swaziland by Apartheid police. She suffered unspeakable horror and was torturęd, in an effort to turn her into an informer. One always gets the sense that the fight against Apartheid was a masculine one. To a certain extent we can not fault people for thinking that it is only men, through the sacrifice of their bodies who liberated this country, because somehow history chooses to ignore the women who fought alongside glorified men. Phila Ndwandwe was breąstfeeding, when she was abducted (A makarov in one hand and a baby in the other). Aaah! Mbokodo! Her family was made to believe that she had eloped to Tanzania when the shaIIow grave of their child was a mere 10 kilometers from where they lived. Her d.eath and grave came to be known when her k.iller asked for amnesty for her brutal m.urder. Her k.illers testified before the TRC that she was repeatedly b.eaten and kept naked for 10 days until she made herself a pair of panties using a plastic bag. When they realized they weren't going to get the Commander to b.etray her comrades, her k.illers blindfolded her, took her to a veld and shot her in the s.kull. When her remains were unearthed, the bullet hole in her skuII was clearly visible, and her killęr testified that she had been s.hot while kneeling. Other articles have suggested that she was hit over the head and s.hot while unconscious. One of the men who m.urdered Phila described her as "Brave. Very brave. " let's celebrate Phila. Her selfless dedication to the emancipation of our people should not be undermined. It should not be forgotten! One can only hope that her targeted body is dancing free and light. This is Phila Ndwandwe- the woman who refused to betray her comrades.

In Tokyo, there's a cleaning crew that does the impossible every 12 minutes. They're called TESSEI. They clean the Shinkansen bullet trains at Tokyo Station. When a train arrives, it stops for 12 minutes before departing again. Two minutes for passengers to exit. Three more for the next batch to board. That leaves seven. In those seven minutes, one person must: - Clean 100 seats - Wipe every tray table - Vacuum the floor - Rotate every seat to face the new direction of travel - Replace all headrest covers - Check the overhead bins - Bow to incoming passengers Seven. Minutes. They do this hundreds of times a day. Harvard Business School published a case study about them. The New York Times called it "the 7-minute miracle." Tourists now stand on the platform just to watch. Before they start, they bow to the train. When they finish, they line up and bow to the passengers. They're paid by the hour. Many are in their 50s and 60s. Japan didn't invent cleaning. They invented the dignity of doing small things perfectly.
