Salesforce published a detailed writeup on going agentic with Claude Code. A couple things jumped out. A migration they'd scoped at 231 days shipped in 13. One PR delivered 21 endpoints at 100% test coverage.

I'm biased, but this is the beginning of a headless future. These same capabilities work outside Salesforce too. Inside Claude, Slack, ChatGPT, Teams, anywhere your people work. SaaS is changing. You don't have to click through all your apps and tabs anymore. The apps comes to you through the agent wherever you work. The human is no longer the integration layer between apps. Humans direct. Agents execute, the platform governs. This is just the beginning.

We build a lot of things at @Salesforce. But this week, at #TDX26, I was reminded that the best thing we've ever built is our Trailblazer Community. It was so awesome seeing the joy on everyone's faces all week as they reconnected with each other, shared stories, learned about what's new at Salesforce, and danced at all the parties. @swbjoyce said it best: It's about the people.

The silence is deafening As the days pass with little to no actions, I become more concerned that FIDE will be successful in it's attempt to sweep Danya's passing (and it's cause) under the rug. So far FIDE has made one statement: a call for an internal investigation. The CEO of FIDE has a message accusing Daniel's friends for his death still posted. Kramnik continues to post threats, denials, and accusations. The silence from far too many of Danya's peers is deafening. I have attempted to reach out to multiple other players to discuss tangible ways to put pressure on FIDE moving forward and the response, in every single case, has been effectively the same "it's pointless unless Magnus joins, FIDE is too strong". That isn't good enough. We, as a community, MUST do better to honor Danya and to prevent further tragedies. What Kramnik was allowed to do, directly under FIDE's supervision, must have repercussions. A 3rd party investigation must take place. Changes must be made for the future safety of all chess players. We need players boycotting FIDE events until this investigation takes place and real changes are made. We need sponsors to make it clear they do not want to be associated with an organization that allows systematic failures related to harassment and abuse. My platform is small and there is only so much I can do, if you see this tag/reach out to GM's, sponsors of upcoming tournaments, and related parties. Let your voice be heard. Let the players know that you will support them standing up to FIDE. We can not let them continue to move forward as if nothing happened.

Danya completes the American chess Trifecta - Morphy, Fisher and Naroditsky. Each of them - in their own way - has made massive contributions to the game of chess. Legends.

Been a Linux hobbiest and sometimes daily-driver since Slackware 3 in ~1996. Have used dozens of distros. What @dhh has done with @OmarchyLinux is incredible. By far the best desktop Linux experience I've ever had.

Few make it to the tippity top of their craft and even fewer can put to words how they did it. Daniel was a profoundly insightful and effective educator in the otherwise indescribably opaque and nuanced world of chess. His loss is devastating for the entire community and I feel deeply for his family and friends. To the former world champion who hurled false accusations at him for more than a year to tear him down... congratulations. You tore him to his very core. His death is on you and the entire community sees you for who you are, finally. If you know someone struggling with their mental health... give them a call. Stand up for them. They need you.
The Naroditsky family shares the sad news of Daniel’s unexpected passing. Daniel was a talented chess player, educator, and beloved member of the chess community. We ask for privacy as the family grieves.

The brain of #Agentforce is our #Atlas learning and reasoning engine, developed by @SFResearch 🧠 Atlas reasons, generates a plan, evaluates, and refines until it feels confident it knows how to accomplish your goals. It pulls in the data it needs from Data Cloud using advanced #RAG and custom CRM #embeddings. Then Atlas takes action across the Customer 360, whether that’s automating a campaign in @MarketingCloud, resolving a case in @ServiceCloud or, in @OpenTable’s case, confirming that perfect dinner reservation for your friend's birthday. The more you use Atlas, the smarter it gets. We've pioneered reinforcement learning based on customer outcomes (#RLCO)— Agentforce is continuously tuning to align with your business outcomes, such as higher conversion and increased CSAT. Your data is never our product, which means your outcome data is proprietary to you. The results we're seeing are incredibly promising. Agentforce powered by Atlas delivers 33% more accuracy and 2x more relevance than DIY AI. It's the difference between a DIY science project and a trusted enterprise-grade agent you can confidently deploy into production. #DF24 #agents #enterprise #reasoning #dreamforcekeynote

The first chess player ever to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated wasn’t a man, it was Lisa Lane—11 years years before the second, Bobby Fischer. Lisa died a few weeks ago in her home in NY. nytimes.com/2024/03/25/us/li…

Dune Part 2 was one of the best films I’ve ever seen. Certainly the best sci-fi sequel. Better than Empire Strikes Back. And zero Marvel movies in the 30 minutes of trailers. Movies are about to get a lot better.
