We have to act. Average weekly excess mortality in 2023 is still 20% higher than 2020 or 2021. Provinces may not intend to act, but federal agencies and officials have an ethical responsibility to protect Canadian lives too--we all have an ethical responsibility as human beings.

Whites: 15.3%
Hispanics: 31.3%
Blacks: 56.1%
It was actual systemic racism, but labeled "Affirmative action."
That's what the Supreme Court ruled against this morning.

There is no good argument for legacy admissions. You had nothing to do with your parent or grandparent graduating from college. You should not have an unearned advantage over a non-legacy applicant by accident of birth.

Reports showing the success of the cycle track have been withheld by City Administration. @project_calgary obtained these through FOIP requests.
The first shows a 6x increase in the number of ppl cycling in the 1st year and the majority of ppl satisfied with the upgrades.
