I typically don’t agree with telling people what they should or shouldn’t do but tomorrow is NOT a day to follow your favorite streamer or chase if you don’t know what to do. 60MPH motions & violent tornadoes can and will be deadly. It even makes me nervous chasing tomorrow.
I will reiterate. If you are new to chasing, do NOT chase tomorrow. Please!! Do not chase. #ILwx #INwx #OHwx

Our forecast covering the expected severe weather outbreak on Wendesday is now up! It is a longer one but it is necessary to effectively convey the risk. Thank you for the continued support!❤️ youtu.be/0Or3HpdKZLc?si=Bndb…

When the SPC and various NWS WFOs use language like "outbreak expected" and "long-tracked strong-violent tornadoes," there is sound reasoning behind it. Yes, there are a few fail modes -- but this could be one of the most concerning setups of 2026 and, if trends hold, could warrant a 5/5 high risk tomorrow. #wx

Forecaster Izzi cooked with this AFD. A great read including possible fail modes and in-depth analysis. Tap in if you haven't. #wxtwitter
This might be the craziest AFD I have ever read, and I read a lot of AFD’s. From—NWS Chicago.

🚨✍🏼 We’ve signed storm chasing group MidwestWx to a broadcast-rights deal! The team, comprised of Alan Geiger, Brandon Youngren, and Mason Gallusser brings great flexibility and experience to WillBrattonWx. During their first ever feature on a WBWX broadcast on June 10th, 2026, Geiger got an incredible view of the PDS Tornado along the Missouri-Iowa border. Based in Iowa, Geiger is a licensed first responder with extensive experience in weather observation, forecasting, and public safety. A firefighter and EMT based in Kentucky, Gallusser also has a strong passion for severe weather and has experience in Dixie Alley. Their experiences as first responders bring great experience and perfectly align with our goals of saving lives. Youngren serves as the real-time analyst, communicator, and producer, ensuring that Alan and Mason stay safe during MidwestWx chases. Based in northwest Indiana, he also provides the ability to chase the Ohio valley and lake effect snow. With an aligned primary goal of saving lives, MidwestWx is a perfect addition to the WillBrattonWx team. Welcome, Alan, Brandon, and Mason! #wx | #weather | #stormchaser

This is what we saw last night near Hooker, OK around 9:45pm. Couldn’t confirm anything but the video is pretty damning. #kswx #okwx #txwx

We wanted to give everyone an update on the water donation situation!!! We have raised $550 (someone brought me a cash donation of $100) and 8 cases of water delivered! Streator Fire said someone has dropped off pallets of supplies and asked us to please reach out to other affected areas first! We will be bringing the water to Ross Township/ Merrillville Indiana tomorrow morning! If anyone else would like to donate please do! Any little bit counts! We understand if you do not have the means to donate right now! If you could just share to help the cause that would be amazing!🙂 -Brandon

MidwestWx is heading out to affected communities, like Streator, IL, with water and other resources — if you want to contribute, check the details in this post. If you are unable to contribute, feel free to share their post so we can do as much good as possible. #Wx
The MidwestWx team sends their hearts out to all the people affected by yesterday’s storms. These photos are not ours, nor do we usually post photos like this, but we wanted to show them and explain what we want to do. This destruction happened in Streator IL last night. The MidwestWx team is planning on driving out there tomorrow and donating a ton of cases of water for the families, first responders and clean up crews. If you are local to Frankfort IL and would like to donate a couple cases of water, please contact Brandon Youngren. You can also drop off water to the Sherwin Williams store in Frankfort @ 20200 s Lagrange road, Frankfort Il. If you are not local and would like to donate to the cause please send the donation to @midwestwxLIVE on Venmo! All donations will be posted to the page and all receipts will be posted showing the amount donated and amount spent! Thank you for all of your support as always. It means a lot to all of us. -Brandon *These photos were not taken by any MidwestWx member. All Photo credits go to the photographers*

Yesterday’s #tornado outbreak is a prime example of why we need storm chasers. Without visual confirmation on tornadoes like that, the impacts could have been even more devastating for residents. Prayers for all those impacted. #wx

We got tornadoes but this was the most rewarding part of the chase. This tree would’ve blocked the roadway for 15-30 more mins, trapping tons of southbound pedestrians in front of a strong storm. Never stop supporting the communities and first responders impacted by severe #Wx.
In case you’re wondering what to do when you come up on a roadblock with downed trees.

🚨✍🏼 We’ve signed award-winning Hurricane researchers and storm chasers Mark Sudduth and CJ Morgan to broadcast-rights deals! Sudduth and Morgan join WillBrattonWx with 40 years of combined experience, performing critical Hurricane and hail research over the years. Sudduth has been in more US-landfall Hurricanes than any other living human that we are aware of. He was the first to ever livestream a storm, which happened to be during Hurricane Katrina in 2005. His brand, @HurricaneTrack, is widely respected. Born and raised in Pennsylvania before moving to Florida in 2015, Morgan has been part of the HurricaneTrack Team for 4 years. Known as @floridamanwx online, he also chases solo on occasion throughout Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. With aligned goals of atmospheric research and saving lives, Sudduth and Morgan are fantastic additions to the WillBrattonWx team. Their experience will greatly contribute to our mission. Welcome, Mark and CJ! #wxtwitter
