I scheduled a siding contractor to replace the siding on the 2nd 3rd floor of a building in Fishtown. My contractor showed up, but forgot to call Peco to cover the wires that Run from Frankford to Front Street. This is the response to our request. It could be a week or a month?

Philly is a town where the politicians will tell you to your face that there is an affordability crisis in the city, that they will fix it, and then approve behind your back a Water Increase on taxpayers owned utilities and Real Estate tax. Happens every four years.

Parker and the PPD has done something different in Kensington. She has sustained more help than anyone else in Office. She is trying new things and the treatment courts are good start even if addicts don’t take the help. She should be supported even when she stops the NGO BS.
Every Philadelphian deserves the opportunity to live in a safe community, access the support they need, and live a healthy life where recovery is possible. Located in the community it is designed to serve, the Kensington Wellness Support Center represents our best effort to bring critical services together in one place and give people facing complex challenges the best possible chance to begin their recovery journey. Developed through collaboration among our Office of Public Safety, @PhillyPolice, the First Judicial District, and operated by Merakey, the Center reflects a coordinated approach to public safety, public health, and recovery. We are not walking away from the challenges Kensington faces. This work is about more than a building, a program, or a process. It is about people: meeting Philadelphians where they are, treating them with dignity, and creating pathways to recovery, stability, and hope. Thank you to Judge Joffie Pittman and the First Judicial District, @PPDCommish and Deputy Commissioner Pedro Rosario, @LozadaQuetcy and the Kensington Caucus of @PHLCouncil, Joe Martz and Merakey, and the many partners across @PhiladelphiaGov, healthcare, behavioral health, legal services, and community organizations helping make this work possible.

My campaign slogan would be “No blight on any block”. My housing policy would be that nobody in Philadelphia should live on a street that had one of those Signs we all know about. We could unleash market forces and naturally benefits all neighborhoods.

Very Interesting article in the WSJ by an out of town Religion and Liberty Think Tank. It's an interesting take on the positive changes of gentrification that can happen without displacement. We could have this all over the city wsj.com/opinion/new-fish-and… via @WSJopinion

Best Retail broker in Downtown Philly sent me this text today. He has been involved in selling Philly to retailers from all over the world for 20 years. There are people who care, who live in the city and want the best, but who feel powerless to do anything about it.

Philly Political parties have been authoritatively controlled by two boomers who are propped up by their sycophant ward leaders. Vince Fenerty 70 / Bob Brady 80 have held an iron grip on power for far too long at the detriment to regular people. We need to do something different
Every Ward leader except for Matt Wolfe voted to keep the alleged sexual predator Vince Fenerty who is the Philadelphia GOP Chairman in his position last night, this is a petition for you to sign to show you would like him removed! #FlipPhillyRed 🇺🇸 c.org/m7fqRPfcfW

Wait a second. They have their own fraud committee? Wtf is a contest committee? monitored by another committee “The contests committee will hear from both sides this weekend to determine whether a recount will take place, this time closely monitored by Democratic City Committee
If you're just catching up: Here's what happened in the Philadelphia 22nd Ward Election and how it reflects terribly on all Philly Democrats: > Committeeperson (CP) elections happened on May 19th > 22nd Ward CPs gathered Monday June 8th to elect a ward leader > Councilwoman Cindy Bass (also the 22nd Ward Leader) chaired her re-election as ward leader > She was challenged for the position by Ward Leader by progressive candidate Octavius Price > A voice vote was taken in which both sides sounded about equal > Cindy named herself the winner > Multiple calls happen for a roll call vote which she rejects > Cindy ends the meeting Later: > @BobBradyPHL and City Committee expresses immediate concern with Cindy's actions and refers the matter to the Contest committee for review. > Multiple elected officials including presumptive Rep. @chrisrabb & @RepBrendanBoyle voice outrage for her usurping the democratic process >📍You are here, and are now all caught up Future: > The contests committee will hear from both sides this weekend to determine whether a recount will take place, this time closely monitored by Democratic City Committee x.com/nextphlmayor/status/20…

The government never tells you that They ARE the cause of things being more expensive. The City’s budget has increased 40% just this decade. But candidates will blame everything but themselves and their policies. Both parties are equally at fault.

I never thought my neighbor would be Whole Foods when I bought the empty old mental health center on Frankford Ave before Fishtown became cool and I had to beg for a commercial use and sign variance on the first floor. This was the first day of construction in the summer of 2013.
Whole Foods is making plans for another Philadelphia store. Reporting with @emmadooling: bizjournals.com/philadelphia…

Which position is Larry actually running for? Could he actually bypass the Mayor race to take on Fetterman. Does he want to upgrade his title to Senator instead?
John Fetterman ran as a progressive but has been anything but. His behavior is completely unacceptable and a betrayal of the people who voted for him.

I’m so excited to see Brazil vs Haiti at @LFFStadium The stadium where I have seen almost 200 Eagles “football” games since 2003. Excited to see the @FWC26Philly setup and the incredible fans of these great teams. The pitch looks amazing
Behind the scenes final look at Philadelphia Stadium before FIFA World Cup. @FOX29philly

Opportunity Zone help. This is Kensington. One of the poorest neighborhoods Philly. Everything in green is an Opp Zone. But most of Kensington is not. I have 17,500 SF to develop in the most deserving place. On Frankford…Between Lehigh and Allegheny. Who can help change the Map?

How is all this land east of Kensington Ave not a part the new opportunity zone 2.0 legislation that is supposed to take hold in 2027. All of this land should be in a new map. @SecretaryTurner We can fight the epidemic of the drug market with proper zoning and economic tools

I swear I should only respond to comments from people who show their full name and somewhat realistic picture. If you want to be taken seriously you should show your name and a real profile. I’m not going to respond anymore to alias and fake names. The dialogue isn’t worth it

The logan triangle is fools gold for land development. It’s literally over an active stream and will take millions of dollars to build a stable foundation. If Parker wants to build a modular factory, she should do it in the Navy Yard. Many options there nextcity.org/urbanist-news/c…

I keep saying this here. and my friends keep saying it to me. I also walked past 3 security guards walking into synagogue yesterday. Jew hate is real and anti zionism is jew hate.
New w/ @hollyotterbein A growing number of Jewish Democrats tell Axios they feel shunned — unwelcome strangers in their own party w/ potential 2028 consequences. “Jews are starting to feel scared again," said Rep. Jared Moskowitz axios.com/2026/06/07/jewish-…
