Findings from the bladder burden survey: Patient perspectives on communication, trust, and quality of life in #BladderCancer. Meri-Margaret Deoudes, CFRE @BladderCancerUS joins @UroDocAsh @UTMDAnderson to discuss findings from the Bladder Burden Survey. The survey identified delayed diagnosis in women, patient reluctance to discuss bladder cancer due to stigma, and mental health strain as persistent gaps, consistent with prior BCAN and World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition surveys. #WatchNow > bit.ly/3QvdXcu @WorldBladderCan

Aspirin can cause mild bleeding or worsen existing bleeding in the urinary tract. This may prompt a clinician to run tests that uncover asymptomatic bladder tumors.

@tompowles1 presents the 3.5 year follow-up of EV-302 & subsequent therapies #ASCO26 @ASCO OS HR maintained at 0.53! Subsequent platinum resulted in ~ 21% ORR and is the preferred 2nd line Tx 2/3 rd patients convert from PR to CR Gratifying to see such remarkable activity of a 1L regimen in mUC after decades! The possibility of long-term disease control & perhaps cure for some patients no longer seems out of reach! @Uromigos @TresUramigas @OncoAlert

Interesting ADC data from #ASCO26 in pretreated metastatic urothelial carcinoma (#mUC). Key findings from #NEXUS01:
⭐️ ORR 42% and DCR 79% overall
⭐️ ORR 33% and DCR 75% in EV-pretreated patients
• Median DoR 7.4 months in EV-pretreated patients 🔑 #CYP2D6 genotype strongly influenced payload exposure and toxicity risk.
• Most AEs were grade 1–2
• Low rates of neuropathy, ocular toxicity, skin toxicity, and hyperglycemia

Bladder cancer is a surprisingly common form of cancer, which is why I attended the @BladderCancerUS annual Walk to End Bladder Cancer at North Park this morning. We need to raise awareness of this deadly, but treatable disease and support funding for research.
