My pregnancy came w persistent vomiting, nausea, & constipation, torn/cut body parts, permanent scars & a reshaped body, risks wrt BP/blood clots & diabetes, exhaustion, weakness, dehydration, depression, & dysphoria. It’s inhumane to force anyone to be pregnant #AbortionRights

And I know I've gotten real graphic here, but I think anyone who has given birth will say I've barely touched the tip of the iceberg. Birth is graphic. It can be traumatic. It is also worth it if you want to do it. It's violence if you don't.

More than half of U.S. states have seen a decline in the number of licensed foster homes since 2021.
So what’s happening?
Child welfare authorities are placing foster youth in juvenile detention facilities instead. I’m glad more attention is being paid to this.

I am begging and pleading for everyone to understand that using a sewing machine doesn’t mean the garment is being made automatically and a human is sitting there chilling and smoking a cigarette instead of doing the work of sewing.
