"I said it's a good that Nigel Farage has started a newsletter to speak directly to his supporters. What did I say Roy?" "You said he's a thin-skinned crybaby who thinks he should be totally unaccountable because his bullshit and lies don't stand up to scrutiny"

Thames Water, the UK's largest water company, has taken a step closer to a form of nationalisation after the gov objected to a proposed rescue deal The Environment Secretary wrote to the industry regulator on Mon to raise concerns over the £10bn package put forward by the firm's lenders PS Andy Burnham told me in his #Newsnight interview on June 5,  ‘if I look at the situation with Thames Water, I think there is an overwhelming case for public ownership'

A jazz drummer canceled his show because he wouldn't perform under Trump's name. The regime sued him for $1M to destroy him, but a judge just threw it out and ordered the government to pay HIS legal bills: 👇 dworkinsubstack.com/p/great-…

I want to introduce you to Steve. He’s 83. His wife died a few months ago and he comes to this lodge in Spring Mill, Indiana and draws. He taught art in Terre Haute, IN his whole life. He also did courtroom sketches in court cases. In the comments I’ll share some pics from his sketchbook. He was excited when I said I was going to share his sketches with the world.

David Hockney’s mum visited him in Southern California after he’d moved there in the 1960s, and as they drove back from the airport she looked up into clear blue sky and said, “I don't understand it. Such lovely drying weather and no one's got their washing out." Bless.

Some of you may remember ‘Man at C&A.’ It was the advertising catchphrase for a well known fashion retailer in the 70’s & 80’s. Here’s the 21st century version: ‘Man at See & Hate.’ 😬

Remembering David Hockney, he was kind and always had a sparkle in his eye. He never stopped experimenting and is one of the finest painters of our generation.

Shocked to hear David Hockney has died. His huge achievement was to make serious painting look effortless. He carried forward one of the most sustained investigations into vision, space and representation by any post-war artist. British art has lost a giant.
