The wine industry is responsible for thousands of jobs in Oregon. These nonsensical tariffs would have a devastating impact on Oregon wine industries, restaurants & small businesses. We cannot punish American industry through irresponsible trade retaliation. I'm fighting back.

When I got home from DC I found my youngest using a stack of these post-Katrina menus for scratch paper. The wine community has always been there for every initiative. Sure, there are wine lobbies, but a grassroots effort is proving most effective.

I personally think this will hurt the hospitality industry. It will suck the soul out of every French/Italian/Spanish restaurant in Charleston and the US and will suck our tourists wallets dry. More boring and more expensive isn’t a recipe for success. charlestoncitypaper.com/char…
