My Austin TX brother in Christ I can tell from the photo that it is. You have something in common with this dumb fridge, the temperature and your IQ are the same. I’ll be in Austin the week of the 22nd. I’d help you flip the doors for free. Happy to help the disabled.

I was talking to my gay yesterday and he told me that many of the unique sexual behaviors of gay men can be explained by the fact that gay male relations occur between two men. Straight men would love to take a woman to pervert cum island if they could

So let's talk about burnout. After Pokopia and Champions, I had the worst burnout I have ever had due to a number of reasons (5 weeks intense workload stress & upset from all the thieves) Other than doing the day to day stuff on Serebii, it has been hard to be fully motivated

Some real repercussions coming for Bricks and Minifigs as one of their suppliers minifigs.me has seen enough and are severing ties. Going to make sure to check out their site and give them some business as I am sure this was a hard financial decision.

🗣️DISCUSSION POST 🗣️ Calling all PokeDoku fans! We need help deciding what to do with some Pokemon forms that have been giving everyone issues. Let’s start with the biggest problem, what to do with Zygarde 10% and Zygarde Complete. The way our game has it now is that they count for Alola because they originated in Sun and Moon. Anytime Ground/Kalos, or something similar, shows up on a puzzle, we get dozens of emails and DM’s with unhappy users who selected either form. Our How To Play section states “Mega and GMAX Evolved Pokémon will be under the region where the normal form of the Pokémon originated.” With neither form being a Mega or GMAX Pokemon, it would mean that it would count for the region that form originated in, which is Alola. Now it has come to our attention that we have been contradicting this rule. Deoxys Attack and Deoxys Defense originated in LeafGreen and FireRed but we count them for Hoenn. Greninja Ash originated in Sun and Moon but we count it for Kalos. This is an issue we admittedly let linger because we have been afraid to make any changes that could potentially make things worse. We are now ready to fix this and would love as much input as we can get. Before breaking down the potential solutions, I ask you to look from not only from your perspective but from the perspective of recurring players, new players, and from our perspective, the creators of PokeDoku. These unhappy messages we receive are most likely from new players. We want our new players to have the best experience possible. We don’t want them to lose on a discrepancy such as this. On the other hand, we cannot just cater to them completely and switch up rules that have been in place for years because this can have a negative impact on our recurring users. Solution A: Count these forms for both regions. It is a pretty scapegoat approach, but with keeping both new and recurring players in mind, it could be the best solution. We would have to make a new rule because it would create more problems. The rule could be “Any form that debuted in a different region than its base Pokemon will count for the base Pokemon’s region AND the region it debuted in.” Now that likely isn’t worded well enough due to regional variants. We can add a sentence at the end that states “This rule does not apply to regional variants, Pokemon entries with a region at the end of their name.” This is close because it defines what counts as a regional variant but then you have Pokemon like, Diagla/Palkia Origin and Basculin White Striped. These Pokemon would have to count for both regions like the Pokemon mentioned originally. Solution B: Count the Zygarde forms for Kalos. This would make it so we would not have to make any changes to the Deoxys forms or Greninja Ash. The new rule would likely be “Any form of Pokemon will count for the region that the base Pokemon debuted in. This rule does not apply to regional variants, Pokemon entries with a region at the end of their name”. Pursuing this solution would mean that we could remove our Mega and GMAX rule completely because our new rule would have this covered. It would also mean that we would have to change Diagla/Palkia Origin to Sinnoh and Basculin White Stripe to Unova. My biggest concern with this solution is finding a way to alert all of our recurring players about this change. A post on all of our social media accounts would only reach a small fraction of our total playerbase. We could do a popup update alert on our website but that could be a UI mess. Also, who knows how many recurring players would actually take the time to read it. Even if they did, most of our players likely have it memorized and could make a mistake out of the force of habit. Solution C: Keep it how it is. This would mean we would have to change the Deoxys forms to Kanto and Greninja Ash to Alola. If we pursued this idea, the first thing we would do is change the wording of the Mega and GMAX rule because whether it is confusing our players or our players aren’t reading it, something isn’t working. The new wording can be “All forms of Pokemon will count for the region where that form debuted in. Mega and GMAX Pokémon are the ONLY exemption to this rule and will count for the region where the base Pokémon debuted.” Now my biggest issue with this method is the same as Solution B, finding a way to alert all recurring players of this change. Solution D-Z: I am all ears! Let me know if you have any solutions you believe will work better than the three mentioned above. Now for our second biggest problem, Eevee Partner, Pikachu Partner, and the Eeveelutions. Whenever First Partner/Kanto, or something similar, shows up in a puzzle, I get dozens of unhappy emails regarding a player selecting Pikachu or Eevee instead of the Partner entry. Again, likely new players, but if I was a new player and I lost because of that, I would be annoyed too. Is the best solution to remove the Partner entries from the game? Seems like it but the biggest hiccup is the current flair, “Must be the first Pokemon obtained by the player, or their evolutions.” Without the existence of the Partner entries, does that make it seem Raichu and the Eeveelutions should count as valid answers? Maybe not, likely overthinking it, but would love input on this. What are the pros of keeping the Partner entries in the game? The biggest issue regarding the Eeveelutions is users selecting Umbreon and Espeon for the First Partner category due to the GameCube Pokemon games. We have a rule in our How to Play section that states “We base our categories off the Main Series Pokémon games.” Clearly, this hasn’t helped, so I believe the best solution for this issue is to add a flair to the First Partner category that states the same thing. Lastly, one small issue I would like to end with has to do with Pokemon Champions and the ability Levitate. In Pokemon Champions, they added the ability Levitate to some Mega’s that debuted in Legends Z-A. Pokemon Champions isn’t considered a main series game so we have not added these Mega’s to the Levitate category. Do you believe this is the correct decision? Thank you for coming to my Teddiursa Talk!
