.@eleanornoyce_ your Lumo article isn't accurate the launch date was never going to be July it was always going to be in sync with the timetable change. If you want fact checking in future let me know lol. Although no doubt you've not got the guts to reply. 👀

The logical solution is to have staff in for tours in the morning with the internal media team getting content and then the external press/content teams in during the afternoon. I do think better vetting of "influencers" is needed especially those who fly drones illegally IYKYK
I've seen a post from a CrossCountry member of staff, saying it was a pity no crews were invited to the refurbished Voyager launch, yet vloggers were given invites. The gist being that the press have a legitimate right to be there, but vloggers are just an extension of the PR dep.

1. UK law allows this 2. If on break remove uniform or do it in a private break space 3. If you don't like being photographed don't work in a public role @TrainLifeGB I would advise you don't get a job in rail if you don't like the idea of being photographed while working.

Do you realise multiple railway staff who are enthusiasts called out this horribly bad design? NGL it feels like you're either staff and you hate your job and hate those who love it. Or you're a veg who didn't pass muster to get in to the railway industry. Either way grow up.
This awful clock is what happens when you staff a railway with railway nerds who are too fascinated with heritage and the inner workings of it all to see how hostile it all is to the casual user.

Yesterday @LumoTravel launched in the west with a service from Glasgow Queen Street to London kings cross. This direct service will allow people from Glasgow to directly and quickly access the east coast mainline, absolutely fantastic. @NetworkRailSCOT @RAIL @richardsalkeld

It's the final day for general operations of HSTs in England, the end of an era for sure. Iconic but their time has come, although I don't think the 175 is a sensible replacement. In May I visited Cornwall as part of Aberzance and snapped this shot. @networkrail @RAIL @GWRHelp

Which was the right thing to do. I have to wonder has CWP just become a meme poster at this point ripping the piss out of staff for quick thinking. Yes it caused delays Yes it's not great they were tricked But I'd rather that than a 92 with load 16 shooting off a viaduct.

The problem in this particular case is that the catering staff hadn't seen the footage, they had heard about it third hand and put in an emergency call based on that alone.

So in other words @ChimeWhistle you were a 🔔🔚 who broke a press embargo. Ye I can see why you're not respected by professionals across the industry and instead are forced to push your mediocre books at every opportunity. Hopefully that'll be you blacklisted from press lists
Press launch for the 810 is on Thursday at Etches Park, where the 'secret' timetable will be revealed to the national and local newspapers 😀

Glad to see everyone is ok. As a reminder if media come sniffing for images MAKE THEM PAY. their articles are worthless without those breaking images and you should get a cut of that earnings. Absolutely shocking to see the likes of the BBC, sky, independent and more begging.
Long live the 390 - Tough as teak 🤫 #Shap

While slippery rails are a big issue, IE Salisbury, Stonehaven was not caused by slippery rails and was instead caused by a landslide. Josh stick to Sims please thanks.

Slippery rails is no joke. The Stonehaven incident sadly claimed three lives and injured six others. Trains will run slower during adverse weather conditions and during poor rail conditions for a reason. It isn't done for fun. It's done for safety.

25 years young today. 25 orbits of the sun and I've seen a lot in that time, too much for a Twitter, but what I will say is savour every moment and grab every opportunity you can. Most importantly though in a world filled with hate, look after yourself, self care is important

Hey @scotgov @ScotRail @transcotland Any ideas why you're using a photoshopped image of a train sat in Estación Retiro, which is in ARGENTINA not Scotland, in official marketing for the end of peak fares freepik.com/free-photo/clo… 👀👀👀👀👀

Why does everyone love this guy. Always has the most yikes takes. 1. Third rail in use perhaps 2. EDP at risk 3. Large number of trespassers or in a very dangerous location. Come on @railnigel you worked for years in the industry you should know better.
Is ‘running under caution’ now completely extinct?

And that's a wrap for @heather_waugh driving 4M11 into Carlisle tonight to bring their time at @RailFreight to a close. New pastures await them and it was a pleasure to document the final arrival. @MrTimDunn @Electra88007

I remember hearing the news coming through and my heart just broke, two railway family members who never came home and a member of the public who never got to go home either. 5 years on safety has improved but there is still a long way to go, the HSTs are overdue for retirement

Today is the fifth anniversary of the tragic derailment at Carmont, when we lost our colleagues Brett McCullough and Donald Dinnie, and passenger Christopher Stuchbury. Our thoughts are with their friends, families, and everyone across the railway family affected by the tragedy. We will never forget.

Twas a pleasure Rich and yes definitely keep an eye out for Rich's article in @RAIL it's going to be great and it was fun getting content for it.
Glasgow...it's been a treat! Thanks to @SnappitysnapsP for showing me around! I'm sure what I've got in the bag will make a great feature for @RAIL Going to head home and write the thing

Who's going to tell them that these two statements clash. Also who's going to tell them there is not a camera bag in existence that can carry two decent lenses and a body in A4 dimensions.
