The Pulse attack was not an act of anti-LGBTQ hate. It was an assault on random Americans by an Islamic terrorist who didn't even know he was shooting up a gay club.
The fact that our political class can't even acknowledge that basic reality, a full decade later, is damning.
Today, we remember the 49 lives stolen and the countless others who were forever changed by the Pulse nightclub shooting on June 12, 2016.
We will never forget this horrific attack on the LGBTQ community, a reminder of the destructive impact that both hate & gun violence can have on our country.
