Who is this study for?
Autistic young adults who
Are 18-29 years old and out of high school
Can answer questions and communicate about their experiences with leaving high school and becoming an adult
Are their own legal guardian
We are very interested in participants who are Black, Brown or other people of color, LGBTQIA , non-speaking, and female identified
Parents or caregivers of autistic young adults (who are ages 18-29 years who have left high school)
Providers or agency staff who serve autistic young adults and assist them through transition.
why are we doing this study
The purpose of this study is to listen to people’s experiences with the transition to adulthood and to gather ideas about priorities for research about the transition to adulthood for autistic youth
