🚨 Indian national Dipakkumar Ghelani, who entered the US on a B-2 tourist visa in 2016 (valid until 2019) and overstayed, was arrested on April 16, 2026, by the Florida Highway Patrol for trafficking of over $13M in drugs.
He faces state charges along with federal immigration proceedings.

Bainbridge, NY — Tushar Sharma, 23 (Indian national, residing Arcadia, CA) arrested April 1, 2026 by NY State Police in connection with a $200,000 fake warrant scam targeting a victim in Bainbridge, New York.
According to authorities, Sharma allegedly impersonated a Department of Homeland Security official, claiming the victim faced an arrest warrant for money laundering and narcotics trafficking. The victim was pressured to withdraw large sums of cash and deliver them to designated locations in the Bainbridge area while keeping the matter secret. The victim complied on two prior occasions before police intervened during a third handoff of $100,000.
