After eight days of powerful programming, our museum dedicated to the human toll of climate change has been forced to close early, shut out by preparations for Trump’s birthday celebration on the National Mall, just as a new heatwave bears down on DC. actonclimate.com/post/cacs-m…

NOAA saves lives and powers the economy, and we can't let the Trump administration gut it. What if the next storm hits while the National Weather Service is understaffed? What if farmers and fishermen can't get the accurate data they need to make good decisions? I choose NOAA, science, and the American people because they deserve a government that cares about them, their livelihood, and their safety. And I’m not stopping this fight until we win.

Inspiring to be with @Margerama100, @KathyCastorFL and lots of friends for @actonclimateUS debut of the Museum of Unnatural Disasters. Seeing my late friend @CleanAirMoms organizer Hazel Chandler’s oven mitts on display was especially personally meaningful.

Trump and Congressional Republicans blocked enough clean energy to power 17 million homes. Then they launched a war that's sending fuel prices higher. Americans needed more affordable energy. They got the opposite. climatepower.us/energy-crisi…

While your electricity bills are going up and taking cash out of your budget, Trump is stealing out of our national wallet—using taxpayer dollars to pay for polluting, expensive, and unnecessary coal plants. We need to save Americans’ money, not give it to Trump’s fossil donors.

Burning coal is up to four times more expensive than getting electricity from renewable sources. And as President Trump clings to the past, his massive giveaway to coal companies will mean higher bills and dirtier air for the rest of us. theguardian.com/us-news/2026…

Extreme heat isn't just a big-city problem. Rural Americans are often farther from cooling centers and hospitals, more likely to work outdoors, and more vulnerable to dangerous heat. yaleclimateconnections.org/2…
