“Homeless by choice”? You are too stupid and callous to be on my feed.
Typical dipper though, right? Gotta keep up with the strathcona squawker. I mean how dare working class people book a holiday and how dare Mother Nature cause chaos. Not every homeless person is there through consequences of choices. Some made choices to be homeless.

And thousands of hungry Canadians are stranded on our streets in sub-zero conditions because they have no housing. Which is the more compelling story, CBC?

Hundreds of Sunwing's Canadian travellers continue to be stuck out of country. Sunwing says it has completed two recovery flights so far this week, with another eight scheduled to depart by Dec. 30. cbc.ca/1.6698372

Gotta secure the sinecure!
.@jkenney hightailed from Alberta at a lightning speed. @RobBreakenridge credits Kenney’s “Alberta Is Calling” ads for labour migration stats. Surely, employment availability had nothing to do with it. Let’s try those ads when oil prices drop again. #ableg #abpoli

Last night we watched The Glass Onion on Netflix. Does anyone else think that the Miles Bron character is based on Elon Musk?

Exactly. As long as CN and CP own the tracks, passenger rail will be hobbled in Canada. We should consider the European model, where the infrastructure and trains are separated, and railways face competition.
How can VIA Rail plan to do anything when their actions are at the whim of a company that focuses on and prioritizes the movement of freight over people? Canada needs viable passenger rail service and it won't get there with our current set up. #ViaRail #Canada @OmarAlghabra

The Bank of Canada is on the same anti-worker trajectory. Inflation is driven by profit driven price increases, the central bank makes low and middle class Canadians bear the burden.

The Federal Reserve is hellbent on continuing to raise interest rates to slow the economy. This is a huge mistake. It completely puts the burden of inflation on lower-wage workers and the poor. Meanwhile, corporate executives, Wall Street, and the wealthy get away scot-free.

As we reach end of construction on the Calgary Cancer Centre, Albertans are one step closer to top-of-the line cancer care services. This project has employed almost 9,000 workers in construction and the trades, and was made possible by $1.4 billion in investment. #ableg

This is an important thread:
When major employers are weighing whether to invest in Alberta, it is harmful for Danielle Smith to falsely claim she can overrule the constitution of Canada. It’s dangerous for her to argue that due process and the rule of law don’t really apply in Alberta. 🧵 #ableg #yyc #yeg

Not exactly. I’m saying that if you take cabinet size as an indicator of caucus discontent, Smith has managed to reach in just a few months the level of caucus discontent it took Redford several years to achieve.
So what you're telling us is there's far more discontent in Smith's caucus than there was in Redford's

Such a swollen cabinet is a clear sign that Danielle Smith has little support in her caucus. Only by including a majority within the cabinet can she retain control. IMHO, the central issue is not the cost, it is the fact that the UCP is more more divided than ever.
.@AbDanieleSmith has the largest Cabinet in the history of Alberta. 39 Ministers 65% of UCP caucus is in Cabinet. Ministers receive $60,000 salary boost, car allowance & free gas, credit card & Staff. Business-like fiscal conservatives? #ableg #abpoli alberta.ca/premier-cabinet.a…

It reminds me of the last days of Alison Redford, when over half the PC caucus ended up in cabinet. It’s a caucus control strategy. Members of cabinet get higher pay and are subject to the cabinet solidarity. The must support the government (read “premier”) and its decisions.
You guys we figured it out! Smith doesn’t know that caucus and cabinet numbers aren’t supposed to be the same! Quick! Someone tell her so we can be done with the infinitely growing cabinet! #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli
