From #ASTRO25: Kosj Yamoah, MD (@KOSJ12), shared findings on the Decipher genomic classifier and Artera multimodal AI biomarker in predicting metastasis in localized prostate cancer. Both outperform traditional risk tools. Key findings: ➡️ In 306 prostate cancer cases, Decipher and Artera scores showed only weak overall correlation. ➡️Each was independently linked to distinct biological pathways in metastatic patients. ➡️Together, they may offer complementary value in defining aggressive disease. learn more: amportal.astro.org/sessions/… #MoffittASTRO25

Awesome work @NakashimaJustyn! One of our chiefs @MoffittRadOnc soon to provide excellent care to many patients in the Orlando area 💪🏻
From #ASTRO25 : Justyn Nakashima, DO (@NakashimaJustyn) shares institutional outcomes of SBRT for extracranial oligometastatic renal cell carcinoma during the poster Q&A. Results indicate that SBRT is safe and effective, delaying systemic therapy while maintaining high LC and PFS. #MoffittASTRO25

At the #ASTRO25 plenary session, Vedang Murthy, MD, (@VedangMurthy @TataMemorial) shares clinical outcomes of adjuvant radiotherapy (RT) after radical cystectomy (RC) and chemotherapy in locally advanced muscle-invasive bladder cancer (LA-MIBC). ➡️ Adjuvant RT improved LRFS and DFS without increased severe late toxicity in patients with LA-MIBC post cystectomy and chemotherapy. ➡️ Potential benefit in OS is being explored in a planned individual patient data meta-analysis of randomized trials. I often hear that post-TMT cystectomy is “fraught with complications even in experienced hands.” That hasn’t been my experience. With the right principles and disciplined technique, these cases can be remarkably straightforward. Maybe I’m delusional - but curious to hear what others think. Radiation vs systemic therapy for isolated pelvic recurrence after cystectomy. @UroDocAsh moderates a debate between @AndreaNecchi @SanRaffaeleMI & Comron Hassanzadeh, MD, MPH @MDAndersonNews. Comron Hassanzadeh backs pelvic radiation for isolated recurrence, while Andrea Necchi highlights systemic therapy with EV-pembro and data from EV-302 & CheckMate-901. Both stress the importance of biomarkers, patient input & multidisciplinary care. 🎥 #WatchNow > bit.ly/3TdQBpF
