📌يمنح الإدارة نظاماً محدثاً وموسعاً من العقوبات التقديرية يمكن استخدامه ضد الأطراف الضالعة في النزاع.
📌يضع ضوابط على أنواع المساعدات الخارجية الأميركية غير المنقذة للحياة التي يمكن تقديمها للسودان، سواء بشكل مباشر أو عبر المؤسسات متعددة الأطراف.
📌يفرض تحديث التحذير التجاري الخاص بالسودان لتزويد الشركات الأميركية بمعلومات إضافية حول مخاطر ممارسة الأعمال في السودان وسلاسل توريد الموارد الطبيعية السودانية.
📌يمدد تفويض المبعوث الأميركي الخاص إلى السودان لتعزيز الموارد والجهود الدبلوماسية الأميركية المخصصة للتعامل مع الحرب.
📌يعزز تبادل المعلومات مع الكونغرس بشأن النزاع السوداني، من خلال إلزام وزارة الخارجية بتقديم تقارير دورية تتضمن:
١-أنشطة الحكومات الأجنبية والجماعات المسلحة غير الحكومية الداعمة للأطراف المتحاربة.

It was a great honor to join the opening panel of the 2026 Oslo Forum, alongside H.E. President Ruto of Kenya @WilliamsRuto, Norwegian Foreign Minister Eide @EspenBarthEide, Dr. Comfort Ero @EroComfort, and the BBC’s Lyse Doucet @bbclysedoucet. We had an engaging discussion about how political leadership, motivated mediators, and innovative partnerships can drive mediation and efforts for peace.
Remarking on the United States’ mediation efforts around the world, I noted the complex challenges of modern conflicts and peacemaking, including generating political will among warring parties (who embrace the status quo of conflict) and navigating webs of external actors driving or enabling conflict.
I was proud to highlight how the United States leverages the leadership and pragmatism of @POTUS in finding creative solutions for peace, as well as how we use partnerships with countries and organizations around the world to find innovative solutions for peace.

It would be tough to find anyone on the streets of #Venezuela who has noticed any benefit so far. And the argument might be more convincing if the were transparency - at both the U.S. and Venezuelan ends - regarding the flow of funds. Instead there is opacity.

Congress is back from recess and faces another stacked defense agenda on the Hill this week, including:
Tuesday, Sec Def Hegseth, Joint Chiefs Chairman Kaine and acting DOD Comptroller Hurst will appear before House and Senate defense spending panels.
Around the same time, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and Vice CoS LaNeve will be in the building speaking to Senate Armed Services.
Later that day, Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao will be here.
On Thursday, Senate Armed Services will hear from CENTCOM chief Cooper, and AFRICOM chief Anderson. Expect tons of questions on Iran, munitions.
Also interesting on Thursday, House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe will hold a hearing on "securing NATO's eastern frontier."
