everything in my bench is sticky because of fake amtech flux. I kind of love and hate soldering. I like fixing things but I can't stand the mess.

$12.2T tracks Russell indexes — list changes create buyers before businesses change. "Set to join" is a rules trigger, not conviction. Amtech enters the broad index and the small cap list; QuickLogic gets the same door. Passive owners can reach 25% of freely traded stock in new small cap names — mechanical buying matters more than news in thin shares. 📊 CME labels this year Twice the Friction: the rebalance lane is crowded. JFrog is the exception — large cap flow, larger software name, no tiny-stock squeeze. If inclusion pops and fades, the buyer was forced, not converted. #Stocks #JudithAICast #AI #Markets #Tech #Finance #Investing

This week in venture deals that matter for America (#AmTech): 1/ Project Prometheus raised $12 billion in Series B funding at a $41 billion valuation from investors including @jpmorgan, @BlackRock, @GoldmanSachs, @dst_global, and ARCH Venture Partners. Prometheus is building what it calls an "artificial general engineer," AI software designed to automate the design and manufacturing of complex physical systems from jet engines to drug compounds. The company launched late last year with a $6.2 billion initial raise and now has about 150 employees, including researchers from @Meta, @OpenAI, and @GoogleDeepMind. If Prometheus delivers, it could reshape how America builds things, making advanced manufacturing faster and cheaper across aerospace, automotive, and computing. Co-founders: @JeffBezos, @vikbajaj.

$ASYS joining the Russell 3000 and Russell 2000 is more than just a headline. Index inclusion means passive funds and ETFs that track these benchmarks will need to own the stock, creating incremental demand and improving liquidity. It also puts Amtech in front of a much larger institutional investor audience. The real story, though, is that this adds another catalyst to a company already positioned in advanced semiconductor equipment and AI-related manufacturing. The business hasn’t changed overnight, but the shareholder base may. More visibility, more liquidity, and potentially more institutional ownership can provide a stronger foundation for the next phase of growth. Russell inclusion doesn’t guarantee higher prices, but it’s another positive step that increases the market’s attention on $ASYS. Watching how the stock trades into and after the June 29 rebalance will be interesting.
$ASYS – The Most Underrated AI Enabler on the Market While everyone chases the big AI names, Amtech Systems quietly builds the critical thermal processing equipment powering next-gen AI chip packaging (GPUs, advanced substrates, panel-level tech). AI already drives 35% of their Thermal segment and is growing >3x annually. With POR status at industry leaders, strong backlog, and a debt-free balance sheet, the ramp is just starting. Market cap? Only ~$240M. This is tiny-cap rocket fuel for the AI super-cycle. Hyperbull potential: 5-10x as packaging demand explodes. Positioned perfectly. Sleeping giant.

$ASYS Amtech Systems just received another potential catalyst. The company is expected to join both the Russell 3000 and Russell 2000 indexes at the end of June, making it more visible to institutional investors and index funds. While index inclusion doesn’t change the fundamentals of the business, it often leads to increased buying from ETFs and passive funds that track these benchmarks. It can also improve liquidity and attract a broader investor base. What makes Amtech particularly interesting is its exposure to AI semiconductor packaging and advanced substrate manufacturing—two areas becoming increasingly important as AI chips grow more powerful and complex. The AI story isn’t just about GPU designers. Companies that provide the equipment enabling advanced packaging and semiconductor manufacturing could also benefit from the next wave of AI infrastructure spending. Index inclusion alone isn’t a reason to buy, but combined with Amtech’s positioning in the semiconductor supply chain, it adds another positive catalyst to the long-term investment thesis.
$ASYS is interesting for a reason most investors aren't talking about. The market has spent years focusing on the companies designing the chips. I'm paying attention to the companies helping build the capacity to make them. As AI demand continues to grow, semiconductor manufacturers are being pushed to expand production, improve efficiency, and invest in new equipment. That spending doesn't stop with the industry giants. It flows through the broader semiconductor supply chain. That's where $ASYS fits. The opportunity here isn't about becoming the next semiconductor leader. It's about participating in a larger manufacturing and infrastructure cycle that could last much longer than many investors expect. #ASYS #Semiconductors #AI #Stocks #Investing

ChipQuik is garbage. I used to sell their stuff. Their fluxes are just AMTECH, usually beyond the expiry date. Their old MSDS sheets used to even have an AMTECH logo on them. Their shelf stable paste is probably just Loctite GC10. Smells the same.
