#wasanmotors mishandled everything after an accident and how the conversation with
#wasanmotors unfolded after they crashed my car.

Mar 3: I left my car for regular service at
#wasanmotors. Kandivali West. (Tata Authorized)
Mar 6 (Evening): I found out that my car had met with an accident during their enjoy ride.
They never told me. I had to call them to learn a lie that the steering locked and it hit a divider.
Mar 7: We visited
#wasanmotors . The arrogant Service Manager
#KishanJamble admitted it as a minor accident caused due to steering lock!
Despite the airbags were deployed and engine was broken! Justified it as a small hit on the impact sensor can deploy airbags.
It being a serious accidental car! We denied to accept the car seeing the damage! Asking for a compensation!
He deliberately denied stating its not in their policy.
But taking the car for personal use! over speeding! it above 65kmph in a 40-Zone and crashing the car was!
Forced me to use my insurance to repair! And accept the accidental car! Giving me standard parts warranty and no compensation! he sounded like he is doing a favor to me – I denied!
Second option was they would sell the car to their valuator and pay me peanuts – I denied!
Lastly, having no fear about the law! He threatened me saying go legal nothing would happen! law would be in our favor. And the car will rot as it is! This is not our first case!!!
Hearing this we left! thinking we had lost everything and cannot fight against these big giants!

Mar 8: Having some hope! I called
@TataMotors_Cars customer care. They agreed it's
#wasanmotors fault.
But later, connected me to
#wasanmotors Service Head
#TrusharShah he repeated the same story:
“Claim insurance, we’ll sell the car & give you the money.”
But that value would be low. I had just bought the car for ₹8.8L.! 6 months back! Why should I take a loss of 3 - 4 lakhs for your mistake? No answer!
Mar 9: Lost all my hopes and felt defeated!! I submitted the insurance documents! Asking to keep complete transparency in the process!
Mar 13: Sent a detailed mail to
@TataMotors_Cars explaining the entire situation! Thought this would get escalated! Instead received an automated response!
Mar 14 - 17: Having received No response from
#wasanmotors !! I mailed and called
#KishanJamble to ask for
#PanchanamaReport and list of documents submitted to Insurance Company and the diagnosis report
Shockingly they hadn’t done any
#Panchanama! No written document/proof of the accident!
I rushed to the neared RTO to find out more about the accident! There I found that they denied to do a FIR stating it as their personal matter! Also got to know that the driver was seriously injured!
Mar 20: After continuous mails and calls
#KishanJamble took the efforts to send me the Claim form and Estimate! and an email stating driver misjudgment as the reason! Reducing the speed to 50 – 60 kmph
The repair estimate was of whooping 8.3lakhs! replacing the Bare Engine Assy as well!!!
The accident reason on the claim form did not had
#wasanmotors name on it!
All these days I was kept in dark about the situation no transparency, no communication, no replies to my email nothing!
Mar 25: After many efforts I was able to connect
#PankajTilve a so-called
@TataMotors_Cars Service Center Care Employee!
Not to my surprise he spitted the same words as
#wasanmotors ! the reason of the accident changed to drivers negligence! I was shattered after hearing this! The Service center lied to me since day one!
His
#wasanmotors centric personal advice was “If I got to any advocate or the court they would say If the service center is repairing the car there would be no case!”
I asked him to give this explanation in writing! Which he agreed and disappeared!
Considering the delay in response! Continuously asking me to not inform the Insurance company about the actual cause of accident and a ton of lies I asked them to stop any work on my car! As things were unethical and would have invited legal liabilities on me in the future!
This isn’t just about me—this could happen to anyone who trusts their service center. They crashed my car and nearly got away with it. I urge everyone to spread the word.
