Almost 9 months after being diagnosed with a terminal cancer, I am more grateful than any other THANKSgiving of my life.
The focus of my gratitude spans a very large territory.
I am, first and foremost, thankful to my God, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (Yeshua), for breathing life into me six decades ago, and for continuing to do so every single day.
The miracles and blessings He has bestowed upon me are immeasurable.
I am also eternally grateful for my precious family. Words cannot adequately express how much I love them and cherish their collective sacrifices throughout my life and, especially, during this cancer battle.
I am so thankful for my multitude of friends — so many of whom are as close to me as my literal family. I cherish your love and infinitely appreciate your prayers and willingness to donate your time (and, in so many cases, your finances) to help me. The individual and collective charity you have shown me and my loved ones is indeed immeasurable.
I wish I could list every name here, but there is no way to do so without missing some very important ones. You know who you are 🙏🏼❤️ and I will love you literally forever
I am SO GRATEFUL for my grandson!!
After being diagnosed, one of my first goals was to make to his birth in September. With your prayers, the Lord got me to that day, and it looks like I will be able to experience many more milestones with the handsome little fella. I have never known an earthly love as deep as the one I have for him.
I could go on and on, but hopefully you get the picture.
Life is a precious gift worth celebrating and worth living. And, there is only one entity that all of our gratitude should be centered on — The Lord God Almighty.
If you are facing battles of your own, please don’t give up. You have a purpose and a life that is worth fighting for. And, one of the most powerful weapons you can use is GRATITUDE.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!! God bless you! I love you all!!
