So they come at you publicly, and then find a reason to retreat, then castigating you as riff raff to mark and avoid. They will crystallize you to others they influence, so to stay in favor of the clergy, the sheep will adopt the clergy's opinions. Don't fall for their snare. Be above reproach in your cultural expression in return. Reject Hollywood opponent culture. The clergy want to appear as the good leaders in society; this caste will use social leverage to quench the Spirit in rivals. I encourage you to continue your public discourse, and please prepare sermons. Preaching and its preparation changes you and will help you face the clergy better. You'll start seeing the Bishop's perspective as you prep "in season and out." You need to preach, if you are ready.

His narrative was that we haven't heard from Bickle, and he insinuates doubt towards the victim's testimony. Holden seems to be a True Believer of Bickle (?), stays within a defined narrative, and does not communicate his personal discernment.
