Respected Prime Minister Sir,
Saadar Pranam.
I humbly write to you today to seek your compassionate intervention on behalf of the Class XII CBSE students who appeared for their examinations this year. During the challenging times of the pandemic, your deeply motivating words—"आपदा में अवसर तलाशिये"—served as a guiding light for the entire nation. It is in that same spirit of hope and resilience that I respectfully bring our current grievances to your kind notice.
With a sincere hope to protect the academic future and mental well-being of lakhs of students, I most humbly submit the following suggestions for your benevolent consideration:
1. Implementation of an Alternative Grading Formula
We respectfully pray for the adoption of a grading mechanism that awards average marks based on a student’s top two performing subjects, combined harmoniously with their practical and internal assessment scores. Because these practical examinations were conducted directly under the strict supervision of CBSE-appointed external examiners—and fully verified with geo-tagged photography—they serve as a highly authentic, reliable, and standardized reflection of a student's true potential.
2. Standardizing Passing Criteria for This Academic Year
As a compassionate, one-time relief measure for this specific academic session, we humbly request that the passing threshold be evaluated based on the combined aggregate of theory and practical/internal marks, rather than treating them as isolated criteria.
Sir, these young minds are the future nation-builders of tomorrow. We are incredibly hopeful that under your empathetic leadership, a swift and reassuring decision will be taken to safeguard their hard work, dreams, and careers.
Thanking you in anticipation of your kind support and benevolence.
