Un pas important în această direcție a fost făcut după ce Consiliul DIANA al NATO a aprobat includerea a cinci noi centre de testare din România în bugetul său pentru 2027, integrând și mai mult România în ecosistemul tehnologic de apărare al Alianței, aflat în plină expansiune. 📍 Decizia, adoptată în cadrul reuniunii Consiliului DIANA de la Madrid, consolidează rolul României în cadrul Programului NATO de accelerare a inovării în domeniul apărării pentru Atlanticul de Nord (DIANA) — inițiativa emblematică a Alianței menită să identifice, să testeze și să extindă tehnologiile de ultimă generație cu aplicații atât civile, cât și militare. 🔬⚡ Noile centre de testare aprobate vor servi drept rampe de lansare pentru capacități de nouă generație, contribuind la evaluarea și accelerarea tehnologiilor în domenii precum inteligența artificială, securitatea cibernetică, sistemele autonome, comunicațiile avansate, tehnologiile cuantice și alte inovații cu dublă utilizare care modelează din ce în ce mai mult câmpul de luptă al viitorului. 🏛️ În același timp, NATO avansează cu planurile pentru un accelerator DIANA afiliat României, care se preconizează că va fi găzduit de Universitatea Națională de Știință și Tehnologie POLITEHNICA din București.
