A missing piece of Ethereum: No simple way to locate or browse on-chain content — even though the data is already there. web3:// (ERC-4804) changes this. Browse on-chain images and content directly — no DNS, no HTTP servers, no trusted intermediaries. Simple as http:// At @EthCC, EthStorage founder @qc_qizhou walked through how it works — from fundamentals to real applications👇

EthStorage will be at @EthCC 🇫🇷, introducing web3:// — turning the EVM into an unstoppable web server. If the full stack isn’t decentralized, it breaks. web3:// (ERC-4804) decentralizes the access layer — enabling true end-to-end decentralization with no single point of failure. See you in Cannes — come meet the team.

Excited to share that @anthurine from EthStorage will be speaking at @EthCC in Cannes 🇫🇷 📢Introducing web3:// — a decentralized access protocol that turns the EVM into an unstoppable web server. 🗓 Mar 31, Cypherpunk & Privacy Track web3://(ERC-4804) enables fully decentralized on-chain apps without relying on DNS or centralized hosting. As Ethereum continues scaling computation and storage, decentralizing the frontend access layer becomes equally critical. Adoption is already emerging — including support from @opensea. The decentralized web stack is gradually coming together.

If Ethereum is for agents, data matters too. Agents need persistent, verifiable storage for memory, content, and coordination. EthStorage enables permanent, petabyte-scale storage at ~1/1000 the cost. The need for this infrastructure is only becoming clearer.
the synthesis is coming.

APRO Global Tour: 4th Stop — Hong Kong 🇭🇰 We’re lighting up another piece of the Asia map. During Consensus HK, the APRO team dove deep into the heart of Web3’s most vibrant conversations — from prediction markets to AI, from RWA to the next-gen infrastructure. On the Panel: From Infrastructure to Adoption Our Co-Founder @yuxin_pig joined forces with leaders from @HashKeyTKSN , @brevis_zk , @RWA_ASSETO , @DinariGlobal , and @redstone_defi to explore PayFi & high-performance chains — the critical layer bridging real-world asset tokenization with scalable execution. Behind Closed Doors: AI x Prediction Markets In an intimate AI roundtable with teams from @EthStorage , @Foresight_News , and others, we pushed the conversation forward: · Where is AI heading in Web3? · How can LLMs and oracles combine to bring intelligent, verifiable data to prediction markets? · What does a truly autonomous, AI-powered settlement layer look like? No fluff. Just builders solving real problems. Hong Kong isn’t just a stop — it’s a signal. The energy here is real: builders from East and West converging, infrastructure maturing, and use cases multiplying. #APRO is in the middle of it all — connecting data, enabling intelligence, and powering the next wave of dApps. We’re not slowing down. The Global Trek continues — and we’re bringing everything we learn back into the code, the products, and the partnerships.

[QuarkChain R&D] Achieving 10 GigaGas/s EVM Execution with BAL & Parallelism Ethereum is raising its gas limit, but scaling L1 much further quickly hits an execution bottleneck caused by the current sequential execution model, which leaves most CPU cores unused. To explore what becomes possible once these bottlenecks are removed, the @Quark_Chain team (with @EthStorage) built a pure-execution environment leveraging EIP-7928 BAL and parallel execution. The result: up to 14 GGas/s — over 10× higher than current baselines on a 16-core commodity CPU. Full article: quarkchainio.medium.com/achi…
New post on EthResear.ch! Achieving 10GigaGas/s EVM Execution with BAL and Parallel Execution By: - Po - Qi Zhou 🔗 ethresear.ch/t/23632 Highlights: - The current Ethereum clients are limited by sequential transaction processing, which underutilizes multi-core CPUs. - Using BAL and a pure-execution environment, the researchers achieved a throughput of over 10 GigaGas/s on a modern 16-core PC. - Parallel execution can significantly increase throughput, but the longest-running transactions still create bottlenecks that limit overall speedup. - Simulating larger 'mega blocks' allows for better parallelism, achieving close to linear scaling in throughput. - Future improvements are needed in areas like sender recovery and state commit to sustain high-throughput execution. ELI5: This research explores how to make Ethereum's transaction processing much faster by using a technique called BAL (Block-level Access Lists) and running transactions in parallel instead of one after another. By doing this, they found that Ethereum could potentially handle over 10 billion gas units per second, which is a huge improvement over current speeds.

A very interesting proposal from @VitalikButerin to use BLOBs as the unified storage layer for all blockchain history and state data (ethresear.ch/t/integrated-in…). In fact, several years ago we anticipated that Ethereum would naturally evolve into three interconnected networks: - A voting network, composed of validators and zk-verifiers, incentivized primarily through block rewards; - A builder network, consisting of block builders and zk-provers, capturing MEV and potentially other in-protocol rewards shared with validators; - A storage network for history and state, built around a unified storage primitive (BLOBs), with the incentive model still to be fully defined. One of the original motivations behind starting EthStorage was to become the first BLOB-native storage network, backed by a purpose-built proof-of-storage incentive mechanism. It is exciting to see Ethereum steadily converging toward this architecture.

Cloudflare-scale outages showed us a hard truth: Web3 breaks anywhere a centralized layer still exists — DNS, routing, storage, and even the frontend. At EthStorage, we focus on the storage layer, and with web3:// (ERC-4804) we extend decentralization all the way to the frontend delivery layer, removing the last major choke point most “Web3 apps” still rely on. End-to-end resilience requires end-to-end decentralization. AItopia is the perfect place to discuss how the stack can finally get there. 👇 Join the space today x.com/i/spaces/1jMJgRdpWoYGL
