INDIA is now ranked as the world's second most attractive business environment for multinational enterprises, ahead of both CHINA and EUROPE According to the World Economic Forum's latest survey of chief economists for the next 12 months: United States: 65% India: 56% South-East Asia: 50% Europe: 44% China: 35% Latin America and the Caribbean: 21% Japan: 21% Central Asia: 6% Sub-Saharan Africa: 3% Middle East and North Africa: 0% The ranking itself is striking. India has overtaken both China and Europe to become the second most attractive destination for multinational enterprises, while Japan ranks surprisingly low.
