βYes, Redis is fast. But if you blacklist a 30-day JWT, it sits in your expensive RAM for 30 days doing absolutely nothing. Multiply that by 10,000 users logging out = Out of Memory (OOM) error and your server crashes. π₯
βPlus, if your API has to check Redis on every single request, you just killed the "Stateless" nature of JWTs and reinvented slow, stateful session cookies. π’
