So sorry for what happened. You need a multilayered lighting protection, equipment grounding/earthing systems, and proper placement of the right classes of surge protection devices (SPDs) on both the AC and DC components to mitigate dangerous strikes.

Just wanted to follow up on this. I've been running 100 mph lately and didn't give my brain enough time to properly think this through. ESPDS isn't quite compatible with CEBE in the way that I originally thought. As Bobby points out, CEBE is already taking both the cash and the liabilities into account. So while ESPDS could be viewed as an improvement on SPDS in some contexts, it still misses the elephant in the room, which is the liabilities. That's a fair point to emphasize -- ESPDS would be the sats per diluted share *IF* the market allowed the company to swap all of their cash for Bitcoin at the current price. (Though if you think about it, we do something very similar when we talk about market cap, which we use to express as the total value of the company, but if everyone tried to realize that value at once by selling their shares, that would certainly tank the price.) So yes, it's definitely not meant to replace the original SPDS -- nor is it intended to have the exact same meaning, nor was I implying that you should replace your existing CEBE sats per share -- but rather it's meant to complement SPDS for the purposes of shedding more light on whether a particular treasury operation was dilutive or accretive. 🍻
