🛑 End the Weaponization of Labels and Government 🛑 When labels and government power are turned into weapons, the result is division, hostility—and even senseless deaths. From LaVoy Finicum to Charlie Kirk, we’ve witnessed how dangerous it becomes when political disagreement turns into dehumanization. It must stop. At Center for Self Governance (CSG), we believe the antidote is education, civility, and self governance. That’s why we are offering free classes this month in St. George—the very city where the man who killed Charlie Kirk lives. These classes equip citizens with the tools to resolve conflict, understand the systems we live under, and prevent violence from being the outcome of differences. 📍 St. George, Utah 💻 Learn more & register: app.hi.events/events/2388/st… Together, let’s replace weaponization with wisdom—and ensure future generations inherit a nation that values life, liberty, and self-government. #EndWeaponization #SelfGovernance #CSG #StGeorgeUT #StopTheViolence #UnityThroughEducation #washingtoncounty #pwol #pwogb #utah #disagreebetter

📌 #BiharWithRG💪, #DhaurraMafi📚, #RealIndia🕊️, #UnityThroughEducation✒️, #StopHateStartHope🌿, #MuslimMeritIgnored🚫, #IndiaForAll🇮🇳, #ShikshaHiShakti📘, #WeStandWithDiversity🌈, #KnowledgeNotCommunalism⚖️

Who Said the University of Asmara is Closed? It Evolved into a National Network of Opportunity. For many Eritreans and observers abroad, the closing of the University of Asmara in the early 2000s was misunderstood as the collapse of higher education in the country. But the reality is this: Eritrea did not shut down education — it multiplied it. The decision to halt admissions at the University of Asmara was not an end. It was part of a bold, forward-thinking national strategy to decentralize education, increase access for all regions, and align academic training with the country’s development goals. Today, Eritrea’s higher education system is broader, more specialized, and more accessible than ever before. A network of colleges and technical institutes serves students across every region of the country. These institutions include: National Colleges: Eritrea Institute of Technology (EIT) – Mai Nefhi Specializing in science, engineering, and education. College of Agriculture – Hamelmalo Supporting food security and agricultural innovation. College of Marine Sciences and Technology – Massawa Focusing on sustainable marine development. College of Business and Social Sciences – Adi Keih Training future leaders in economics and social development. Orotta School of Medicine and Dentistry – Asmara Building capacity in the national healthcare sector. Asmara College of Health Sciences – Asmara Equipping nurses, pharmacists, and public health professionals. Vocational & Technical Institutions: Sawa Center for Vocational Training (CeVoT) – Sawa Providing hands-on training in mechanics, electronics, carpentry, and more. Technical and Commercial Schools – Massawa and beyond Preparing students for direct entry into the workforce. Agricultural Schools – Hagaz and regional areas Promoting rural development through applied agricultural science. These institutions form the foundation of a new, inclusive model of education that reaches students in every corner of Eritrea. It’s a model based not on prestige, but on purpose: building the human capital that the nation needs. This transformation is part of the Wefri Warsay Yika’alo program — a national initiative that ties education directly to reconstruction, development, and self-reliance. Education in Eritrea Today: The impact is already visible. Tens of thousands of Eritrean students have graduated from these institutions. They are teaching in schools, working in clinics, managing farms, and building the future of Eritrea — not just in the capital, but across all zones. So the next time someone says, “The University of Asmara was closed,” tell them the truth: It wasn’t closed. It was transformed. Eritrea moved from a single university model to a decentralized network that serves the entire nation. This isn’t the story of closure — it’s a story of expansion, inclusion, and nation-building. --- Hashtags to share proudly: #EritreaRising #EritreaEducates #NotClosedButExpanded #WefriWarsayYikaalo #EducationForAllEritreans #UnityThroughEducation shabait.com/2016/06/08/a-fut…
