Also contract != outsourced to gacha devs lmaooo I literally do contract work on games.
Usually I'll just be embedded in a team close to launch because they need more hands on deck. But codev also doesn't mean slop lmao... just the industry is 99% slop either way.

DE benefits massively from tax cuts and yes cost of living in London, Ontario. But it's also a very different game. And yes, Bungie needs a far smaller core team in office, codev teams in cheaper locations. Get Marathon a campaign or PvE that gets it to a bigger audience.
