Excited for @agbt 2026 — see you in Orlando! 📅 February 23–26, 2026 📍 Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek We’re proud to present: 📌 Poster #450 🎤 Presenter: Colin Ng — Vice President, AtlasXomics 🗓 Wednesday, Feb 25 | 4:45–6:10 PM 📍 Bonnet Creek Ballroom I–VI 🧬 Integrating Spatial Open Chromatin and DNA Methylation Profiling with Spatial ATAC-TAPS In this work, Colin presents Spatial ATAC-TAPS , a first-in-class dual-modality assay that maps chromatin accessibility and DNA methylation (5mC/5hmC) in intact tissue at near single-nucleus resolution. By linking epigenetic states with histology, we reveal spatial tumor heterogeneity — including poised and resistant niches invisible to bulk profiling. 🤝 In collaboration with Watchmaker Genomics, Matija Snuderl (NYU Langone), and Ultima Genomics. If you’re interested in spatially resolved epigenomics, tumor biology, or the next generation of integrated accessibility-methylation profiling, we’d love to connect! 🎖️ We're thrilled to share that @ProfJohnARogers and Prof. Yonggang Huang are the namesakes of the John Rogers / Yonggang Huang Medal, newly established by ICCES to honor extraordinary collaborative research across science & engineering. Their 20 year partnership — spanning 400 papers and 100,000 citations — exemplifies the power of teamwork and interdisciplinarity. 🔗 iccesconf.org/john-rogersyon… #QSIB #CollaborativeScience #EngineeringInnovation #InterdisciplinaryResearch

I am excited to announce the John Rogers / Yonggang Huang Medal, a new annual award sponsored by the International Conference on Computational & Experimental Engineering and Sciences (ICCES), an organization founded in 1986 to promote international work in computational and experimental engineering and sciences. This medal recognizes collaborative research in the general fields of science and engineering -- it adds to seven other medals of the ICCES: the Satya N. Atluri Medal (for engineering, sciences, and commerce); the Keh-Chih Hwang Lifetime Achievement Medal (for research, teaching, and service, in honor of Yonggang’s father!!); the Wei-zang Chien Medal (for technological innovations in mechanics); the ICCES Eric Reissner Medal (for scientific contributions and services to ICCES); the J. N. Reddy Medal (for theoretical & computational mechanics); the T. H. H. Pian Medal (for scientific contributions and services to ICCES); and the Kobayashi Medal (for experimental science). Yonggang and I are deeply grateful to the leadership at ICCES for their insight and initiative in creating this new, unique recognition. We are most excited by its potential to raise awareness and appreciation of interdisciplinary, collaborative work – thereby serving to encourage young researchers to consider this powerful style in their own careers. History shows that small-scale collaborations can often lead to scientific breakthroughs and important engineering innovations. In academic settings, these sorts of interactions also create environments that expand and enrich learning opportunities for students. By allowing recognition for pairs of investigators, as well as individuals, this medal directly addresses one common disincentive to collaboration – perceived difficulties in sharing credit for achievements. All of my accomplishments in research, commercialization and mentorship have greatly benefitted from collaborations – and Yonggang is, and has been, easily my best collaborator: >20 years, >400 co-authored papers with >100,000 citations, and still counting!! Thank you Yonggang for this incredible partnership - I can’t imagine my career without it! The ICCES John Rogers / Yonggang Huang Medal is open to all applicants in any field of science or engineering, in any part of the world – in that sense, it complements the recently announced Rogers/Huang Medal of the Hagler Institute at Texas A&M University, a similar recognition but available only to that local community. The first recipient(s) will be announced at the 32nd ICCES annual meeting, to be held in Hong Kong next year, August 7-11. iccesconf.org/john-rogersyon…
