I think Lit may be more extensible than others. For example, I think LitHTML can be its own thing, and I think the Lit primitive class can be used as its own thing. Other digestible bits end up getting used as their own thing or remixed; like Rollup up into Vite up into Astro.

#100DaysOfCode some people complain about #webcomponents like some complained about #react at her beginning but browsers have included as standards so let it be I'll start looking at #lithtml framework as it is also easy to start in the browser x.com/lepinekong/status/1573… ;)

#100DaysOfCode Easiest way to start #React is in the browser. But it's pointless to wander the internet for the urls and insert in scripts, it's better to remember the process so as to be able to derive the essentials x.com/lepinekong/status/1573… so create a macro @react for example

#100DaysOfCode this #vscode extension is normally used for #lithtml #WebComponents lit.dev/ but using the tips below you can get syntax highlight even for pure simple vanilla #javascript / #html / #css like in the old days when things were simple😜

#100DaysOfCode Tips to get html syntax highlight inside literate template: use #vscode extension marketplace.visualstudio.com… prefix with String.raw, remove <style> with 2 or 3 lines removeTag function (unraw github.com/iansan5653/unraw may not be even necessary in every case) example :

Sweet. LitElement might be a better fit than LitHTML actually.

It would be fantastic to have a version of Fresh with LitElement/LitHtml instead of Preact.

For purely static personal sites, I like eleventy @tailwindcss. If I need components, I consider the React MDX / Next.js / Astro / LitHTML direction.

Web Components is a definite yes -- I might even have the bandwidth to help out if you need it! But not sure how Svelte fits in... seems to me LitElement/LitHtml is all you'd need..

Would be nice to have an eslint rule to warn you if youre using an element in a lithtml template thats not in your static get scopedElements. Tweeting this in hopes i dont forget later.
