Plus, why the Miami & Dubai trips are not listed on her annual finacial disclosure forms? Listen to the Mayor telling me her office will get back to me. We asked for months for a one-on-one interview and her Communications Director Susana Castillo told us she didn't think our questions rose to the level for the Mayor to do a one-on-one interview. @susi2431 Director Castillo said we should attend a press conference and ask the Mayor our questions. NEW: 15 minutes were lost during a cardiac arrest yesterday after @dcfireems crews were sent to the wrong location. It's unclear if this is a 911 caller or call-taker mistake. The person called 911 reporting they had trouble breathing. The address entered into the computer was 1901 Gainesville Street SE. The call was dispatched at 9:31 a.m. While still on the phone with 911, the man stopped breathing and his heart stopped beating. At the same time, the crews from Medic 25 and Ambulance 32 found out quickly the address they were dispatched to wasn't correct. No one needed EMS at 1901 Gainesville. When a dispatcher offered to send a truck company to force the door, one of the EMS units responded, "We don't need a truck. We need a correct location." ( into the radio traffic). While working the neighborhood, the EMS crews figured out the correct building was 1907 Gainesville. That was at 9:46, 15 minutes after dispatch. The crews revived the man. The man's prognosis is unknown. Here's hoping OUC leadership provides details and supporting documentation to show why the initial dispatch was for a bad address.
