Quelle shock horreur...
This is Trump’s Watergate. Today, the @nytimes released a truly stunning report on the Epstein cover-up by the White House.  Collusion, breaking the law, evading subpoenas—it’s all in there: - Trump quashing the files - The VP, COS, DOJ, FBI, and others colluding in the Situation Room to stop their release and compliance - Officials lying to the public  - Admin in-fighting and exits - Officials who appeared in front of Congress during this time Read the report here: nytimes.com/2026/06/10/magaz…

I find this incredibly moving to watch. What a spectacle - over a century in the making. Just wow. Can't wait to go back and see it finished!
Absolutamente increíble. Lo que hoy ha hecho Barcelona se recordará mucho tiempo. La Sagrada Familia, Gaudí y los que durante 140 años han creído en ello, lo merecían.

"Understanding why the touch paper catches so easily is not the same as defending what happens when it does - the families on the street, the burning houses, the children in among it, is indefensible. But you cannot solve a problem you refuse to diagnose."

In a famous 1972 televised debate, David Susskind argued that a woman could not be president because of the hormonal changes that occur during menstruation. Germaine Greer immediately put an end to the debate by asking him if he could tell whether she was menstruating at that very moment, which left his argument without a response.

Former Head of the Sexual Offences Section and Homicide Prevention Unit at New Scotland Yard here. Serial killer Peter Sutcliffe was enabled by the police due to their own misogyny and Levi Bellfield was just like these three teenage r@pists. Neither of them started with murder. Both serial killers were allowed to escalate because the system and those in it failed to stop them. In fact, it protected and enabled them just like these teenage r@pists. “It’s not a culture war”. She’s so eloquent.
It feels like there’s been a shift today. 💥 This morning, @The_Nationals MP Alison Penfold introduced a bill to amend the Sex Discrimination Act and restore sex-based rights and protections for women and girls. 💥 Her speech was excellent, and unlike similar bills, hers was not stopped in its tracks. 💥 Then, at a press conference, she and Senator @mattjcan stood shoulder to shoulder with @salltweets - THE WOMAN who represents every woman and girl who has been vilified, punished or harmed as a result of the lie that men can be women. And Sall of course, was her usual brilliant self 👇 📣Every federal politician must work together to GET THIS DONE: womensforumaustralia.org/Fix… cc: @AlboMP @AngusTaylorMP @PaulineHansonOz @larissawaters #FixTheSDA #IStandWithSallGrover #Auspol

Sure what do parents know or care about their kids 🤷‍♀️ They’ve barely even met them!
Dr. Natasha Johnson, a pediatrician at McMaster University, has become president of the Canadian Paediatric Society. Dr. Johnson said at a 2022 WPATH conference that "parents' feelings" about their child's medicalized gender transition "should not be prioritized over the youth’s experience.” In other words, she argued for discounting parental objections to prescribing their children puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to treat gender dysphoria. Dr. Johnson was instrumental in stirring up the protests against the recent systematic reviews of pediatric gender medicine out of Dr. Gordon Guyatt's lab. These protests ultimately led Dr. Guyatt and some of his colleagues to denounce their funder, the Society for Evidence Based Gender Medicine @SEGM_EBM, and seek to pull their names off of pending review papers, putting them in limbo. 52 abstentions in a public vote is a lot and strikes me as something of a statement.
I deleted an early post about this because Grok informed me that Maeve’s side won the debate. My fault for not checking further. Now Maeve’s mum (@lucymirandaward ) has given the actual figures (38 ayes, (Maeve’s side), 70 noes, 52 abstentions). So I’ll repeat it. That a speech this good - beautifully delivered, eloquent, coherent, full of passion, backed up with facts - lost the debate indicates just how committed (and I mean committed, not captured) universities are to gender ideology. And in that context it takes real bravery to stand up and tell them just how wrong they are. 70 people listening to this speech (and the other speakers on Maeve’s side) and voting against it is crazy. Hopefully, the abstentions hold out some hope. But because the ideology is so strongly held by university staff turning it around is going to be difficult.

Disappointing messaging from @PresidentIRL . But not surprising 🙄😞
We are extremely disturbed by the news that President Catherine Connolly has been named as a patron of Irish NGO Belong To - an organisation that receives huge tax funding, and has been instrumental in the push for mixed-sex bathrooms in Irish schools, curriculums that teach gender ideology as fact and ask students to sign pledge packs to subscribe to preferred pronoun usage, teaching teachers to hide and lie to parents about their children’s sexuality or gender identity, etc. This organisation was once set up as a gay youth group, but as many of our members and founders experienced, it was not a place for LGB youth to find friends or find community, but rather an youth group that taught young and vulnerable lesbians or bisexual girls how to hide breast binders from parents, silenced questions, encouraged disparaging speak about “c1s” people and created a culture of secrecy and fear. We met with the Children’s Ombudsman to raise our concerns as lesbians, gays and bisexuals who had direct and indirect experience of Belong To, and these concerns were never investigated. It is wholly inappropriate for @PresidentIRL to actively endorse such a controversial NGO, that has and continues to actively harm lesbian, gay and bisexual youth, particularly while she is the president.
