Exciting news in Colorado. 🎉
The state has enacted legislation (SB26-115) for Prosecutor-Initiated Resentencing, which means seven states now give prosecutors the authority to look back at past cases in the interest of justice.
We’re grateful for the support for PIR by Colorado legislators who stood up for justice that is both firm and fair.
We also recognize the extraordinary work of Spero Justice Center for its commitment to accountability and second chances. We take great pride in working with all stakeholders, both law enforcement and defense. We’re grateful to partner with Spero on this effort.

What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity.
