💧 Three (3) lives lost in 10 days & Many Accidents took place. Thousands on the streets. Families struggling for Water for days. The #Undri#Mohammadwadi#NIBM Water Crisis was real. The pain was real. The candles were real. But for @ABPMajha @ZeeNewsMarathi @News18Marathi @TV9Marathi @SaamTV @NDTVMarathi @JaiMaharashtraTV @LokshahiNews @ZeeNews @aajtak @DDNewslive @ndtv @ABPNews — apparently, it wasn't real enough to cover. Thank you to @pulse_pune @punekarnews @ThePuneMirror @htTweets @TOIPune @indianexpress & @fpjindia for actually showing up. When mainstream Marathi / Hindia / English News Channels go silent on a Civic Crisis of this scale, it isn't neutrality — it's a choice. Tax-paying citizens in #Pune deserve better than selective silence. We are not invisible. We are asking for accountability — not Sympathy. #UndriWaterCrisis #MohammadwadiWaterCrisis #NIBMPune #PuneMunicipalCorporation #PMC #WaterIsARight #MarathiNews #PuneNews

Bachpan waala India. Regardless of the weather, our dinner time was at 7:00 PM and bed time was 10:00 Eating out at a restaurant was a huge deal, a rarity actually, that only happened when it was a birthday or a very special occasion to celebrate. There was no such thing as fast food on every other day, and having a bottle of soft drinks and an ice-cream from the local shop was a real treat. Pass your final exams and you might have gotten a new set of clothes, or Bata shoes. You took your school clothes off as soon as you got home and put on your ‘home’ clothes. There was no taking or picking you up in the car, you either boarded the school bus or rode on public transport, or just walked home. You got home did your chores and homework before dinner. Not everyone had a house phone and much later, all private conversation were at PCO booth's. We didn’t have appletv AmazonPrime or Netflix. We had only Doordarshan to watch. Jungle Book came once a week on a Sunday and Chhaya Geet on Thursday’s, for which we waited all week. We played chor police, lappa chuppi, Football, Cricket, lagori, dabba ice-spice (actually it was “I spy”) Marbles and any other game we could come up with... At home, we stuck to chess, ludo, snakes and ladders and Monopoly. Staying shut in the house was a PUNISHMENT and the only thing we knew about "bored" was --- "You better find something to do before I find it for you!" Life was good without insta, facebook, twitter. Followers were the friends standing behind you. We played music via magnetic tapes or radio. A walkman was a luxury for the uber rich. We went to the local shop for groceries and chiclets, jeera goli, kismi used to be a couple of paise. We ate what Mum made for dinner and put in our lunch and snack box. Bottled water was non existent. We drank from the school water filter. We called our friends from home by shouting their names from the street below. We weren't AFRAID OF ANYTHING. We played until dark... sunset was our alarm. If someone had a fight, that's what it was and we were friends again a day later if not SOONER. We watched our mouths around our elders because all of our aunts, uncles, grandpas, grandmas, and our parents' best friends were all extensions of our PARENTS and you didn't want them telling your parents you’d misbehaved! Or they would give you something to cry about. We respected the Police, Firemen, Ambulance workers, Teachers, Doctors and Nurses. We never answered back... ever!!! We got detention at school for not doing homework, no hair cut, being late to class or being naughty. Our teachers spanked us when we deserved it and our parents did not complain about it. We did not know what luxury was. Our simple lives were so good. Those were the good days. So many kids today will never know how it feels to be a real kid 😁. I loved my childhood and all the friends I hung around with. Congrats, if you are from the same generation... 😁🌹🤗

That being a jaw dropping catch is a given, but the sheer audacity and madness of this man to put his body on the line after a near death experience doing the same in Australia is what truly defines him as a leader!!! Haven’t seen a guy this committed for Punjab! You truly changed our lives Shreyas and the way people see us now!!!
SHREYAS IYER, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!! 🤯 🎥 One of the best catches you would see in the #TATAIPL history 🔥🔥 Updates ▶️ bit.ly/TATAIPL-2026-24 #KhelBindaas | #MIvPBKS | @PunjabKingsIPL

Most Indians don't know this, but those lines on roads have meanings. In this instance, the solid while line basically means that a vehicle in one lane cannot cross over to the other lane under any circumstances. The Scorpio is clearly overspeeding, and paying no heed to those lines in the initial part of the video. From this angle, it also seems as though the collision happened when the biker was trying to overtake the bus (and in the process, cross the solid white line). At the point of impact, the Scorpio was in its designated lane, but still over speeding. So, who's at fault here? I would say 60% of the blame would fall on the Scorpio driver. First. He shouldn't have been at the wheel in the first place because he was reportedly underage. Second: He is overspeeding on a narrow road. 40% blame would fall on the biker who attempted an overtake in a blind spot, on a road where overtaking is prohibited. Plus, I now hear that he wasn't wearing a helmet either. Leaving all that aside, he would have been alive had he chose to simply trundle along behind the bus, handled it with more patience and stop himself from overtaking it until he reached a wider section where overtaking is allowed. I always say this while taking out a car/motorcycle/scooter in India. You may be the most careful, safest, all-traffic-rules-following driver out there, but it only takes one law breaking idiot to ruin your life.
Delhi Hit & Run Case Update || Fresh CCTV footage has emerged in the case, showing a speeding SUV.

Back to downloading stuff I guess. At this rate & at this point here is how your annual expense looks like… JioHotstar: ₹2199 Amazon Prime: ₹2198 NETFLIX: ₹5988 (assuming even if you take 1080p plan) WiFi: ₹12000 Mobile: ₹300 min per month ₹3600 per year tv music: ₹2388 / if YT Premium & YT Music as alternative then ₹1499 / ₹2388 if you are on Spotify AI subscriptions, 𝕏 subscription, Storage plans are extra costs in case someone is using them. So basically, you’d spend staggering ₹28373 on streaming & music alone along with WiFi. And this turns out to be around ₹2364 on streaming & internet alone. And in return you’d get no IMAX enhanced on Hotstar, Dolby Vision absent on many titles which is available otherwise in other parts of the world on same times, limited Dolby Atmos and crappy lossy sound and video on prime video.. and after all that inconsistent app experience except for NETFLIX which is seamless. Is spending close to ₹30,000/- in a year on subscriptions is worth? It becomes ₹50K if we add cloud storage, ChatGPT or 𝕏 subscriptions or LinkedIn subscription! What are your thoughts?
Jio Hotstar subscription prices to go up starting from January 28th. The top tier premium yearly subscription will increase from ₹1499 to ₹2199 ( 700 rs).
