ICYMI: A Grade 11 student spoke out about what’s happening in post-secondary education in Ontario. From cuts to OSAP grants, to lifting the tuition freeze, to declining funding per student, students are feeling the impact. As Arushi Nath, a Canada Top Young Scientist Award winner, writes, students are not an expense. They are an investment in Ontario’s future. My letter @TorontoStar: “Students aren’t an expense - we’re an investment in Ontario’s future.” Declining funding, @OntScienceCtr STEM school closure, OSAP cuts make it harder to plan education just when Canada needs youth talent most. - Arushi, Grade 11 thestar.com/opinion/letters-…

Arushi is in highschool and she and her friends rely on the Bathurst bus to get to school. She asks for support of these lanes so she can get to school on time and cut down on the stress of a delayed commute.
