Never forget - the D party doesn’t want the welders, cafeteria staff and regular workers to become rich.
They want them on welfare. They want their vote, not their success.
A welder took a $28 an hour job in 2015 at a company he had never heard of.
On Friday, Juan Hernandez became a millionaire.
He spent ten years building the structures that lifted rockets onto the launch pad. SpaceX paid him partly in stock, the way it paid its cooks, machinists, technicians and cafeteria staff, equity instead of bigger salaries. His $10,000 grant grew into $880,000 at the IPO price. The first day pop carried it past a million. He is 42, an immigrant from Mexico, married, three kids. He says he is keeping the job.
He is not the outlier. He is the pattern.
4,400 current and former SpaceX employees became millionaires on Friday. One in five people who ever badged into the company. About 400 of them are walking away with $100 million or more. One employee took every cash bonus in stock instead of money. He is sitting on 50,000 shares, worth more than $8 million at Friday's prices.
And then there is the other side of the cafeteria.
Some employees sold their shares years ago, certain the company would never go public because Musk said he hated public markets. A few traded their stock for restaurant gift cards. The New York Times says they are consumed by regret. Same grant, same building, same years. One group held the claim. The other ate it.
None of the winners can touch the money yet. The first selling window opens after the August earnings report, and the rest unlocks in waves through December.
Underneath all of it sits the only lesson the market ever teaches. The welder and the gift card came from the same place. The difference was never the work. It was the ownership. Salary pays for the month. Equity pays for the era.

The piece prices that exact question at $2.2 trillion.

I'm too spent to offer much of an update, but she's home. She's where she needs to be. There was one final twist, which I will tell you about later. It might be meaningful down the road and it is mingling my relief with a sense of disquiet. But she's home. Thank God.

When I see protesters outside the Collin County Courthouse chanting “FUCK WHITE LIVES!” after Karmelo Anthony’s sentencing for murdering Austin Metcalf, my soul grieves.
This isn’t justice. This isn’t “community.” This is demonic hatred — plain and simple. All lives are made in the image of God. Every single one. Black, White, Brown — doesn’t matter.
Celebrating the loss of any innocent life, or cheering on evil because of skin color, is straight from the pit of hell.
And here’s the truth they don’t want you to say out loud: When Black conservatives, Christians, or truth-tellers like me call this out, we get labeled “traitors,” “Uncle Toms,” or “betrayers of the community.”
Let them talk.
I’d rather be disliked by some in my own community than stand before a Holy God and be found guilty of excusing evil, hating my neighbor, or twisting justice for racial points.
My allegiance is to Christ first — not color, not tribe, not political pressure.

To be clear, I posted this because if one of my children hurt or God forbid killed another child, I would absolutely know that some of that blame sits with me.
I missed something.
I got something wrong.
There is no way I could consider myself blameless because my child is MY FRUIT, MY production, MY evidence.
If you don't agree it's probably an accountability issue on your part, not mine.
Two kids were failed by Karmelo's parents.
Austin Metcalf and Karmelo Anthony.
His parent's failed both of those young men.
One had his life snuffed. The other forfeited a chunk of his own for a senseless act of violence.

Reminder: Last year, a woman in Orange County, CA was charged w/ felonies after she successfully registered her dog to vote in CA and casted multiple mail in ballots in the dog's name in CA elections. She was only caught because she turned herself in and her attorney said she wanted to "make a point". The dog's vote was successfully counted in the 2021 recall election of Governor Newsom, but the dog's ballot in the 2022 primary was rejected. Why the difference?
According to the OC DA's office: "Proof of residence or identification is not required for citizens to register to vote in state elections nor is it required to cast a ballot in state elections. However, proof of residence and registration is required for first- time voters to vote in a federal election. As a result, the 2022 primary ballot cast in [the dog's] name was challenged and rejected."
The woman, Laura Lee Yourex, has pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing. She has no prior criminal history.
Prior to her arrest, she mockingly posted on social media that her dog, Maya Jean, had voted, and had continued receiving mail in ballots, posting photos of Maya Jean with her ballots.
