Hazard identification without exposure context tells you almost nothing useful. But try explaining that after the headline already did the damage.
The idea that glyphosate “causes cancer” took off after a hazard classification from in 2015, while regulatory agencies concluded it is unlikely to pose a carcinogenic risk at real-world exposure levels. And here we are a decade later, still re-litigating the same selective interpretation. Such a tiresome waste of time.

Among three leading ophthalmology journals between mid-2024 and late 2025, STROBE guideline adherence was high for core reporting items but suboptimal for missing data, participant flow, and generalizability in recent ophthalmology observational studies. ja.ma/4xikpnL

Gute Frage. Fortschritt zeigt sich in Ergebnissen. Ob Raumfahrt oder Immuntherapie, was zählt ist was funktioniert und Patienten erreicht.

Was tun Sie eigentlich, genau, für den „Fortschritt“?

3/ Here’s the truth: Jupyter notebooks are not Git-friendly. They store outputs, metadata, and code in bulky JSON. That makes version control a mess.

Equally effective or equally misdirected? Sepsis trials keep finding no difference because we don't stratify by immune phenotype. The heterogeneity swamps any real signal.
ARISE FLUIDS: no difference of early pressors vs fluids in sepsis. When a trial finds no diff between 2 therapies, we commonly interpret them as 'equally effective'. We fail to sufficiently consider the equally valid interpretations: 'equally futile' or 'equally harmful' 1/5

Global health architecture reform must deliver for those who need it most. Health Ministers from Ethiopia, Liberia, Malawi, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Somalia and Spain, through the Global Leaders Network (@GLN_Community ), are calling for women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health, including #SRHR, to be explicitly prioritized in ongoing reform efforts. As aid declines and climate, conflict and economic pressures grow, protecting these services is essential for stronger, more equitable health systems. 📄 Read the full statement and join the call to put #WCAH at the centre of global health reform: globalleadersnetwork.org/wp-…

For a long time, living systems were thought to be too warm, wet, and complex for quantum effects to play a meaningful role. But as research in quantum biology continues to grow, that assumption is being questioned. In this new video, we explore why this field could matter for human health, what scientists are investigating, and where the research may lead. Check it out! youtu.be/-3tVHkW9zt8?si=_POE…

#NBKGW #Gesundheit2026 ^jmr

The frustration is understandable. Progress on chronic immunological conditions has been painfully slow. But dismantling research infrastructure helps no one. The focus should be on where funds actually go.

You’re not wrong! For every disease, there’s an organization “non profit” formed to capitalize on victims. Let’s be real.

The mechanism likely explains this. Scalp cooling relies on vasoconstriction for traditional chemo, but deruxtecan's payload probably affects follicles through pathways vasoconstriction can't mitigate.
Very important finding. No benefit to scalp cooling with T’DxD. #BreastCancer #bcsm

$80M annually to offset declining federal support. The immunology and oncology focus is promising. We face similar challenges in Germany: different root causes, but uncertainty drives talent away just the same.

Vitamin D supports activated CD4 T-cell proliferation through enhanced glutaminolysis ▶️ VitD is an important immunometabolic regulator of T cell function. ▶️ Its active form, 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3, signals through the VitD receptor (VDR), which is highly expressed in activated CD4 T cells. ▶️ VitD modulates the expression of key transcription factors and cytokines that shape T cell differentiation. ▶️ Although VDR signaling suppresses glycolysis by reducing glucose uptake and glycolytic enzyme expression, early T cell expansion is preserved. ▶️ Glutaminolysis is identified as a central metabolic pathway supporting VitD-induced CD4 T cell expansion independently of canonical glycolytic & OXPHOS-associated programs, while promoting metabolic resilience & inflammatory restraint. doi.org/10.3389/fimmu.2026.1… @DHPSP @HealthyFellow
