And now you hold in your hand a phone, camera, video camera, TV, computer, GPS guidance system, the content of the world’s libraries. How much would all that have cost 15 year old you?

Bravo @spencerpratt. I have accompanied Judge Carter to his public hearing on Skid Row. I have followed the endless litigation with the at best incompetent homeless industry. When the 9th Circuit rejected Judge Carter’s attempt to take control of the vast puzzle palace that absorbs and wastes billions I despaired. If LA voters put you in this number one problem for the city and county can finally be tackled. There is zero excuse for 75,000 broken people to be condemned to the streets to basically die off quickly and out of sight. Press on.
If that addict on your street were your own son, what would you do? That is the defining question that guides my 5 step plan to fix the homelessness problem in LA. We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They launder money and feed them more drugs, so they can keep their customers locked in this hell on our streets. We have a moral obligation from God to help them and make our city safe and clean for everyone. Karen Bass and Nithya Raman have forsaken this city. Time for real leadership. Time for real compassion.
Bill Maher is 100% right here. We have a problem and we cannot ignore it. We must fight the bigotry… and shame those who espouse such views.
@billmaher
Bill Maher is right. Every word of this. Where are our elected leaders? Who is speaking out? How is America starting to accept bigotry and hatred against Jews as normal?
This thing will be chairman of the House Appropriations Committee— the committee in charge of the nation’s checkbook — if the (D)s regain control of the House in November.
Everyone should embrace free enterprise because thanks to free enterprise everyone now holds in their hand a phone, camera, television, library, and computer more powerful than anything NASA had 50 years ago.
Regardless of the merits of these allegations, Swalwell was always a notorious figure in Washington, constructed by Pelosi and others to serve their interests. As these figures now seek to destroy him, they cannot escape their hand in his creation... jonathanturley.org/2026/04/1…
