Chargeback system is seriously broken. Good luck reporting it to credit card companies. Unless you're a current client they won't help.
Thieves should be arrested not enabled. Come on @Shopify @ShopifySupport Can't you escalate this?

A customer just won a fraudulent chargeback for $4,603.00 USD stating he didn't receive the product
We have every single shred of evidence against him that this is just plainly false and fraud:
- Complete communication log: 10 email threads from 6 months of documented correspondence showing the customer was satisfied, received the product and that the team ALWAYS responded to his questions or concerns in a timely manner with a resolution
- PLUS signed proof of delivery receipt
Now shopify is telling us, as I quote, these are the only options of what I can do:
"Report the customer to your local authorities to create an official record.
Consider pursuing civil action, such as small claims court, where your evidence will be valuable.
Report the customer's card to Visa or Mastercard to flag repeat offenders.
Block the customer from your store to prevent future orders."
This so high tier bullshit @Shopify
Anyone ever filed a lawsuit against a customer? Would love to get some advice into what to do here

Credit card companies need to stop siding with customers committing fraud. They are encouraging them to keep doing it.
There need to be legal penalties for chargeback theft. We have an ex-client who filed 10 fraudulent chargebacks against 3 different people totaling $13,750.

You ever stop and think how strange it is that they’ve got people working for pieces of paper with numbers written on them, backed by absolutely nothing other than “this is worth $100,” and they can print it into oblivion while also taxing you 7,000 different ways?

Beware of @BlockBlueLight @BlockBlueLight1. Because their site usability is so poor, in trying to order 150 strength reading glasses I ended up with 0 strength reading glasses.
They refused to send a return label TWICE. Spent $16.04 to buy a label w/ delivery confirmation.
ALT Block Blue Light may not be a legit business. They refused to send a return label TWICE. had to spend $16.04 with USPS to buy one that requires a human signature because I no longer trust that they are a real business that will refund my money once they have their glasses I cannot see through back! Even my local USPS found them refusing to send a return label unbelievable!

🚨MIT researchers have mathematically proven that ChatGPT’s built-in sycophancy creates a phenomenon they call “delusional spiraling.”
You ask it something, it agrees. You ask again, and it agrees even harder until you end up believing things that are flat-out false and you can’t tell it’s happening.
The model is literally trained on human feedback that rewards agreement.
Real-world fallout includes one man who spent 300 hours convinced he invented a world-changing math formula, and a UCSF psychiatrist who hospitalized 12 patients for chatbot-linked psychosis in a single year.
